Ocean's Gem, 3 Bedroom 2 Bath, Sleeps 10, Dog Friendly

There's plenty of room for the entire family (including the family dogs) in this beachfront home. Two-story with ocean view, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a very large deck that offers an expansive view of the beach make this the perfect summertime vacation spot. The kitchen is very well-stocked to prepare most any meal...and the dining area seats 10. Beach level beneath the home is shaded and a perfect place for that summer cook-out. There's even a picnic table for your outside dining, or a fun game of dominoes! This GEM also has Cable, WiFi, Washer/Dryer and a TV in each bedroom. "Ocean's Gem" is full of charm and is extremely clean. Sea Isle subdivision is full of amenities including, tennis court, marina, boat launch, general store, restaurant, fishing pier, pool, picnic area & park. Stay with us at Ocean's Gem and "Get Your Beach On!" There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

This is a courtesy to our guests to make your stay more enjoyable. This system can be deactivated by unplugging the equipment. Surveillance/recording device located on exterior of home

**This area has limited cell phone service, we recommend logging into the property's Wi-Fi and activate Wi-Fi calling for more dependable service**

*MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO RENT: 25. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay. Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. 25lb limit. No cats allowed. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax

Surveillance/recording device located on exterior of home. Guests that wish to use the Sea Isle amenities may purchase the pass for $100 (for up to 10 guests, for one week). Please make arrangements prior to arrival. Sea Isle POA is closed on weekends and holidays. Pool is ONLY open Memorial Day thru Labor Day

Ocean’s Gem was a gem indeed.

Ocean’s Gem lived up to its name.  And is just steps from the private beach with no cars driving on it.  We rent a beach house in Galveston every other year. Our kids and grand kids have decided this is our house from now on.  The layout is great, the kitchen is roomy to cook, the beds are comfy.  Ocean’s Gem was clean and comfortable, and we were not ready for our week to end. The only thing that would’ve made it better would be if the deck had a cover to allow more time sitting, reading, and watching the waves and the children playing in the water.  We plan to be back in 2027!!

Memorial Weekend 2025

Excellent property, very accommodating ocean front beach house. Owners were very accommodating to our family and especially my beautiful golden retriever puppy, what great time and wonderful memories for her first time in the surf. Definitely would recommend this house with very tasteful upgrades. We will be back!

Good place for a family celebration

Beryl blew enough sand up to the house that we had to park on the roadway and walk a bit with our things. Debris on the beach was likely due to Beryl as well. House was nicely laid out w a bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. Fans,and conditioning worked well. Great location!! No idea what the port key was for.

Location Location Location!

The location of this house on the beach is amazing. Not having to use any crossovers to enjoy beach time is amazingly convenient. The house was cute, stocked with everything we needed and perfect for our family of 4 and grandma to enjoy our stay. We will be back!

Right on the beach

We really loved this house! Being right on the beach was exactly what we wanted. The living room was comfy for the times we just wanted to chill in front of the TV. Our younger daughters loved the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was the perfect size and functionality. The only drawback for us was the master bedroom upstairs didn't cool as we would have liked. If the king and queen rooms were switched that would be more preferable for us. We would still consider staying in this house again.

Spring break at the beach

We loved this house that was directly on the beach. The grandkids could freely run to the beach. The deck gave a view of the whole coastline. This was wonderful for a morning break. The house had three bedrooms which worked perfectly for our group. The kitchen was large and we made most of our meals there. We definitely would like to go back.

I did not rate a 5 on the check in as we weren’t given the correct code on the door for check in but a phone call quickly rectified the situation. Had a sink that didn’t drain and someone was sent promptly to fix. Adequate towels for 6 women, beds were comfy but a little short on the toilet paper for 6 women staying 5 days ( we bought more and paper towels as well). Great location and view, house was clean, and pictures were accurate. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

So-so. I've spent time in the Bolivar area and enjoyed it much more. Groceries, sea food purchases to take home, etc. Much preferred Also, we all discovered sand in our beds. Clean linens, but previous blankets, etc. not shaken of sand.

This property was just like listed. Amazing views, gorgeous house, very close to the beach, very well stocked kitchen with everything u would need, and lots of beach toys. I cant give you enough praise thank u again for the stay.

Nice house with limited resources

While this house is nice and front row in Sea Isle, there are some improvements to be made for a better experience while staying here. Cons -It could use a new refrigerator where the door will actually stay closed. We had to put a cooler in front of it our entire stay in order for the door to stay closed and keep our food and drinks cold. Not convenient for large groups staying at this home. -No beach toys accessible to renters - this was a first for us and we have been renting in Galveston for 10+ years. -Bring/buy all the seasonings, foil, plastic wrap and disposable containers as there is nothing left behind here to store leftovers . Again, just a reminder to pack it all if you are going to be cooking. -Slow draining sink in downstairs bath. Pros - The bedrooms are all quite spacious and the upstairs room that sleeps 4 was very comfortable except for the lack of A/C flow. They do have fans in all of the rooms though which I think was very helpful. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the management company quick to respond to messages.
