« This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell...

« Built in 1920’s-Inn w recent renovated crisp clean white rooms. Dining on site, watching freighters go by on the St Clair River. Hard wood doors, large windows lead out to the boardwalk. Beautiful fireplace in sitting area. Forget those higher priced bland hotels. This Inn is one of a kind. »

« What a cute motel -very clean and updated-large rooms, nice view of the water. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! Having the River Crab restaurant right there was awesome. I totally will stay again. If your wondering about this place, wonder no more!! »

« Everything was fantastic as was every staff member I met while there. One thing for someone to be aware of is that the establishment is on the corner of the main 2 streets in Lexington. So if you are bothered by traffic noise, I would suggest asking for a room not on the street if possible. It was not bad during my stay, but I was there during the off season. My room was directly above where the cars stop at the intersection. A lot of traffic in peak season could be an issue for some...

« its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again. »

« The check-in process is very combursome and confusing. The lockbox next to the fire extinguisher doesn't make sense when there are multiple fire extinguishers on site. If you advertise a sofa sleeper it should be made up or at the very least there should be sheets, pillows and blankets inside the unit. Fortunately, the Days in Staff was very helpful. »
