Iris 2 is a delightful recently renovated apartment, located into a beautiful and classy palace in Piazza Beccaria in Florence. This is a really advantageous position as it is located right on the edge of the historic center a short distance from all the main points of interest of Florence but also near the boulevards, so it's easy to get there also by car.

The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people and is composed by two double bedrooms, a nice full bathroom with shower and a living room with a double sofa bed and kitchen.

Nice stay in Rome

Nice renovated flat at a few metro stop from the city center. The landlord is very nice and try the best to explain you everything you need to know. Even if he does not master French or English, he has prepared some notes to give you all the information you need to have a confortable stay in Rome. We really enjoyed.

Potential for fabulous

Spacious and clean apartment in a great location, but with a few issues. For a family of 4 the 2nd bathroom with washing machine was a great bonus, but the water temperature in the shower as stated in the previous review was still a problem. The weather was 35 degrees Celsius for our stay so the shower switching randomly to cold water was just annoying and not unbearable. It was also a shame that such a nice kitchen lacked the basic cooking tools. There was no pot boil water, no cooking utensils, no dish soap, no tea towels and no cork screw! (Amazingly, the banging the wine bottle in a shoe against a wall hack worked!). They did bring dish soap, paper towels and a corkscrew the next day when requested, but those are basics that should be in every suite that advertises a kitchen. So this place has the potential to be great with some simple fixes, but I would check on the water temperature situation in the shower before booking.

Great for a large group splitting the cost, otherwise a difficult experience

I think this place could be great if you are a group of 20 year olds looking for an inexpensive stay. There are six sleeping spaces, and if you divided the cost by 6, it would be worth it. The location is very convenient: there's a bus stop that goes straight to the historic district.Otherwise, this stay was a difficult and unpleasant experience. The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived. We needed to sleep and recover, but the cleaning team showed up just after we checked in. They were very kind women and did a good job. But, the cleaning should have been scheduled for before our arrival time. The beds have very thin mattresses that bow down in the middle. Again, if you are 20, that can be fine. As older women, it was too uncomfortable.The shower is roomy, but the water will not stay at a steady temperature. It moves back and forth between hot and freezing cold many times during a single shower. The manager said a plumber had repaired it during the day when we were out of the apartment, but during the shower after that period, the ice cold and hot water flashes continued.Please note that despite the listing being different than the actual conditions of the apartment, management will not cancel or refund your stay. Ultimately, we ended up leaving a night early to find a more comfortable place with a steady shower, but no refund was possible for the unused night.

We liked the apartment a lot! All it’s services and amenities as described in the post. Very spacious, comfortable, convenient for moving around and close by to interesting places, restaurants, etc. we loved Firenze!
