All hurricane-related repairs have been completed except for the pool deck and a portion of the siding, which are still scheduled for upcoming work. All other amenities are fully operational. Beach Access: Beach access is open via a sand path. Beaches: Both the public beach and the beach directly in front of the Sunburst Condos are open. The sand in front of the complex has been sifted for a clean, comfortable beach experience. Island Conditions: Manasota Key is still undergoing recovery, and guests visiting in 2025–2026 should expect some construction activity throughout the island. Local Businesses: The Waverly, White Elephant Pub, and Beachcombers Trading Post have reopened. Other restaurants and shops continue to rebuild and reopen gradually. If you have any questions about the area or the complex, please feel free to reach out. We were on the bay side with the pool which we used at least every day. There is still construction but overall the pool area was very nice and clean. Communication with the owner was excellent.
