"The air was very damp and smelled like mold. There was indeed some black mold on the shower curtain and on the window curtain. Everything felt slightly damp in the room including our pillows. It was therefore extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep. We woke up in the morning feeling nausea presumably because of the disgusting air. "Lovely small hotel, the staff couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are lovely and the location is excellent. We stayed here the night before climbing Pico and we were allowed to leave our bags and come back to the hotel the following day. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. It was one of our groups birthday whilst we stayed here and they made her feel very special. The sea is closeby if you want a swim and lots of lovely restaurants. The spa is excellent also. Thank you for having us, hopefully we will be back one day. "

"We enjoyed the three days we stayed at Casa Baía de Feteira. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Note Google maps does not take you to the driveway when using the “directions” feature within the vrbo app but rather a nearby location. This was easily and quickly corrected by a note to the host. "
