"I would recommend a different choice. There are the basic services you need from a place-a bed, a place for your things. There also exists some creature comforts such as an indoor and outdoor pool and views onto the beach and ocean. Some rooms even have a small kitchen which was the saving grace for me because I found the breakfast to be almost inedible.
The hotel would meet expectations easier if it was listed as an apartment complex as the feeling you get inside is that of student housing. The total lack of color, art, or soul detracts from the location which has the possibility to be decent.
I choose this hotel for the reasons that it stands out:
1. Good location on the beach and near historical sights.
2. The kitchenette and living room so I can do some work while traveling
3. The indoor pool and gym so I can swim laps while the outdoor pool and bar is good for the sun.
I only booked for three nights so I could extend if I enjoyed it or move on somewhere else if I wished. I knew I would move on within the first 10 hours of arriving, and so I enjoyed the rest of my stay and moved onto something that suited me better."
