"The room was clean, the amenities were nice, and most of the staff were polite. However, we experienced a noticeable and disappointing difference in service between male and female guests. At the pool and water sports areas, staff approached male guests directly with towels and attentive service, while our female-only group—and other female-only groups we observed—were left waiting more than 20 minutes and ultimately had to get towels and menus ourselves. At the sushi restaurant, our waiter did not offer us water, while the couple seated next to us received water promptly. A single missed interaction could easily be overlooked, but the pattern was noticeable enough that it made us question why the level of service appeared different depending on whether the guests were men or women. We would appreciate the hotel taking this feedback seriously and reviewing these service practices with the relevant staff. The property itself has a lot going for it, which made this inconsistency in treatment particularly disappointing."
