"We were upgraded to a nice pool view ..the staff were very decent and nice ...the food tasted amazing and it's available 24 Hr . The pools and sea are incredible...surely will come again"

"We booked on a Friday night with an extremely early flight the next morning. Unfortunately there were three weddings at the hotel that evening. One was outside and the music was very loud and went on until midnight. I think this is bizarre at an airport hotel where people need sleep for international flights. Also, our toilet was broken and although it was mended the flush panel then fe off the wall."

"My family and I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. It is very convenient as it is so close to the Cairo Airport. The staff were very kind and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of food choices, the views were beautiful and the rooms were always spotless because of the awesome housekeeping. Would definitely recommend if you are in Cairo!"

"The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Great view of the Nile. Lebanese restaurant on premises but greeting staff was rather rude and unwelcoming so we decided not to dine there. Went instead to another Lebanese restaurant a few blocks down the street in the Fairmont Hotel where the staff was very welcoming. Besides this one mishap, the staff at Sofitel was great, she was the one bad apple. The front door staff, the front desk staff and others randomly placed throughout the hotel were all wonderful. The only reason I gave a 4 rating for staff was our experience at the Lebanese restaurant."

"A well kept property with plenty of public spaces. They don't accept Amex despite advertising that they do and you have to pay for the stay at check-in, as opposed to leaving a credit card pre-authorisation, which means you need to settle any charges separately with another transaction. I got both the room upgrade and $25 Gold Member credit at check-in"

"What a first class hotel this is! The staff are impeccable and delivered a world class service from every single member. We were greeted by the door staff every time we returned from a trip with "Welcome home " The piano player in the bar was fantastic. Sky bar had spectacular view. The bar staff were exceptional , and attentive in particular Hadder and Ahmed they really are outstanding. The hotel is central and views are amazing of the city and the Nile. Amenities were 5 star from the variety of restaurants, gardens, pool and grandeur of the hotel generally. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you to all of you for making our stay so special."
