« This is not a "luxury" loft - it is adequate. There is no place to hang a jacket or hat, the furniture is sparce and although the kitchen is well stocked with plates, silverware and cooking utensils, there is not so much as a dish towel or saltshaker or other kitchen odds and ends that make a place more homey. Also - the "balcony" is pretty much unusable. The location is great - it's walking distance to everything along Thames St. But given its deficits I would not recommend it. »

« We had a great time at the Starfish suite. Clean, well-equipped, and great communication from the host. Steps to a gorgeous and not too crowded beach. We had a great couple of beach days. The building itself is not new and can definitely hear your neighbors, but everyone was kind and respectful. We had a great time. »

« The house was very convenient to the beach, Aldi’s, Walmart, and local restaurants & shops. I wasn’t sure how private it was being a guest house, but I never felt that we didn’t have privacy. Our dogs enjoyed the little fenced in yard. We appreciated the updated bathroom and kitchen. The weather was so pleasant a small outdoor area would have been nice, and we missed not having a washer & dryer and dishwasher, but overall it was clean and cozy. We would stay there again! « Great location in the heart of Newport—just a five-minute walk to the wharf, restaurants, and everything else you would want to enjoy. The property has been freshly renovated, is well equipped, and had everything we needed. The beds and bedding were especially comfortable, and the check-in process was seamless. We would definitely stay here again. »
