« This place is a dump. Been there 3 times in 6 months to fish Mille lacs. All 3 times different staff, pool was always closed all 3 time. 10/2-10/4 stay new mngr told me owners don’t publish pool closed because no one will book.. breakfast sucks, access cards stop working, toilet doesn’t work absolute hellhole »

« Recently remodeled and very clean and modern ! »

« We really enjoyed our stay! The property is clean and well taken care of. We had a great view of the lake! It was quiet and peaceful at night. We were pleased to find out that they offered continental breakfast and free use of bikes and kayaks. We will definitely be back! »

« I really wanted to like the room and property as I love the area. But as my friend dropped me off (and thank goodness he didn’t leave right away!) I walked into what I thought was the office. However, there was a sign posted saying the check-in office is at the Pelican Bldg. I’m from out of town so I called the number, spoke to the clerk, explained my situation, and asked how to get to the check-in office. She said, “Well, I don’t know where you are so unsure how to direct you.” Really?!? How...

« Rooms were filthy. Bathroom had bugs, floor was dirty, and was a couple pieces of trash in garbage can. The TV had liquid splatter marks on it, and there were macaroni noodles and cheese dust in drawer. The lamp shade was missing. Really not impressed, pretty disappointing. »

« Clean room. Only saw someone at the front desk when we checked in. Never saw anyone after that. No ice machine even though there's a sign for one. Price difference between Thursday night and Friday night is $40 even though there were only 6 other cars in the lot, far from full. Breakfast was okay at best. Heard the few people that were there complaining about it. Scrambled eggs, old wrinkled sausage, no juice. Very little selection. »

« Our suite had sticky floors in the kitchen and bathroom. There was a stain on the sofa, which we covered with a towel before we sat on it. There was a very odd burn on the carpet in front of the fireplace, shaped like an iron (the kind used to iron clothes, LOL). There was an actual hole in the wall made by the room's door knob/handle crushing into the drywall and not repaired. The bathtub's surface was very slippery, and I almost slipped while showering. Our table in the breakfast room was...

« I appreciate the online check-in option. It made the process very easily. The furniture and carpet appeared to be new-“ish,” but holy, did our room reek of stale cigarettes. The bed appeared clean and was relatively comfortable. The floor of the shower was dark gray from years of wear and there was mildew on the caulk. This place desperately needs to be gutted and remodeled if they’re going to continue charging what they do. Overall, I would only choose to stay here if it was the very last...

« Walking into the motel there was a chemical smell. Not sure what it was cleaning or disinfecting. Got a room key andwent to the room. Small room no clock and notice the toilet in the bathroom. It was off center kind of turned towards the wall a little. Should have been our first clue. But we needed to get to a wedding. So we left on returning And taking off our shoes, the carpet was damp. I walked into the bathroom and the toilet was leaking out of the bottom, which the bathroom floor was wet....
