"Great sea front property. The garden was a fabulous added bonus. The décor throughout was beautiful. Evening food was delicious!
Only moan really, was our room was too hot despite the fan being on all night, and a delivery lorry parked right outside our bedroom window to roll off barrels etc (albeit 7.45am and not 5.00am)
On the whole, this is a fantastic hotel, and I would stay again and recommend others to do the same."
"Perfect location in the heart of Clacton. Stacy on reception was excellent with her communication and extremely accommodating. Highly recommend The Royal Hotel "
"Room was nice and big and clean with comfy single beds. Bathroom was small and hard to move around in and toilet seat was worn and if staying Friday and saturday night you can hear loud music from nearby clubs so bring some earplugs but otherwise I enjoyed my stay here. "
"Did not live up to expectations. Pictures on advert not what you find at the property. We were told on arrival that they are carrying out renovations this is true scaffolding outside rooms not finished. We ended up in a small box room very average not be back. "
