Welcome to Bergen lane, your family’s home away from home. Located on the south shore of Long Island, this 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home has everything you and your family need to have a relaxing, entertaining, and unforgettable vacation.
Inside-

Upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom/master bathroom, two queen sized bedrooms, and a full bathroom. Downstairs in the main living room, you will find a large sectional that reclines in two places—it typically sleeps smaller sized guests very comfortably in those places. Additionally, there is WiFi throughout the whole house, and the living room TV has an Amazon fire stick with access to all of the major streaming services. The dining room isn’t just for formal dining, it doubles as a great space for nightly card or board games with the family. Adjacent to the living room, you will find a small room which is a great place to fit an air mattress for additional guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with google home speaker (dance party anyone?), a tv, a restaurant grade oven, pots, pans, cutlery, dishwasher, and any comfort you would normally find at your own home. Still working from home? Feel free to use the home office during your stay. The downstairs also has a half bathroom and laundry room.
Outside-

You’ll find a patio built for entertaining, barbecuing, and relaxing. Raining? Too sunny? No worries, flip one switch and the patio will be covered with an awning to keep you shady or dry. After dinner, feel free to gather around the fire pit for stories and s’mores, or walk less than 10 minutes to Floes for some ice cream. And don’t forget, after a long day at the beach, grab a fresh towel and step into a steamy outdoor shower.

In the backyard, feel free to launch the kayaks from the ramp and kayak down the canal, or head out into the bay, but remember, life jackets are a must! Additionally, for an extra charge you may hire our on-site boat captain to take you swimming, clamming, fishing, to the beach/ocean (Fire island), on a happy hour cruise, or on one of the captains special day trips!

Local-

Feel free to strap a beach chair on your back and walk to either of the two local beaches. Blue Point Beach is a quite and small beach only a 5 minute walk from the house. Or you can walk 10 minutes (right past Floes) and visit Corey Beach, which has a playground, lifeguards, picnic area, and a public restroom.

There’s a grocery store, liquor store, 7/11, Dunkin’ Donuts, bagel shop, and Starbucks only 5 minutes down the road. Or, Costco and target are located only a 10-15 minute drive from the house.

Next to the town of Blue Point, you will find Patchogue which has a plethora of choices for dinner, happy hour, or a full night out on the town. If you want to go out but don’t want the nightlife scene, feel free to walk 10 minutes down the road to eat at Floes or JT’s on the Bay. You could also drive 10 minutes down the road to the town of Sayville, which is a family friendly town with a Main Street full of restaurants, shops, ice cream, and a movie theater.

Additional info-

-The house has a very long drive way which affords the property with ample privacy for you and your family.

- Pets are always welcome, and if you need a spare dog bed, you can find one in the supply closet.

-There are beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, etc) located in the boat shed.

-If you or your guests are traveling from the city, the Sayville or Patchouge LIRR stations are a 10 minute drive from the house.

-Ferries to Fire Island are located in both Sayville and Patchouge— both ferry docks are down the street from their respective LIRR stations.

-Attached to the house is a separate apartment where the boat captain lives. If you should have any issues or questions, he would be more than happy to help.
