« This is kind of like staying in a cabin. It is rustic. Very cleanfor an old building. If you look at the pictures it is what it is along with the price. The biggest draw back for us is it reeks from smoke. Whether it's from long time smokers living there or people who live downstairs, I don't know. They don't allow smoking now but it really needs an ozone machine. I hate writing a bad review but you need to look closely at the pictures. « Two four-legged hosts, Bella and Sammy escorted us to Bird Camp which was warm and welcoming when we arrived! They stayed a bit to make sure we felt at home. This was one of the quietest and most peaceful locations we have stayed at. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed relaxing in the sentou - custom built Japanese bath house. « Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. »

« Check in process was very straightforward. Place was very cute and cozy, and included all the basics such as a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and linens. Got a little chilly at night but between the heater and the space heater we were perfectly comfortable. Nice and quiet location, <10 mins from Stewart’s. Be prepared to drive 20+ minutes for restaurants, especially if visiting off-season as many close seasonally. Overall a great place and a great value, would definitely stay here again! »
