My only issue was the fact the rooms are so spread out. The first room offered you had to use two different lifts to change floors to access it and walk through a rabbit warren of corridors. I have a sore knee so found the distance too far. I was moved to a closer room but this was still quite far away but did only need 1 lift to access it. When I asked why there is nothing on the website or when booking to explain as to why you need to access a different building I was told the room is only allocated the day before so it may not have been so. Still time to warn customers as I would not have stayed if I had known this." We caught the X27/X28 bus from Princes Street; it costs £2.40 and takes about 35 minutes. The bus stops at the end of the hotel drive—just be aware that it is a beautiful but very long walk up to the hotel, which can be a bit of a workout if you have a large suitcase!Dining: Breakfast offered plenty of choice. We also ate at the Brasserie restaurant twice; the food was faultless and really nice, though a slightly more varied menu for a second night would have been great.
