"What I didn't like.. The breakfast. In the states most hotels (both cheap and expensive) include breakfast. I paid 35 lbs for a breakfast that wasn't worth $3. Cold runny scrambled eggs. Nothing on the buffet table was especially inviting. Service was nice, and table clean, etc. The following days, we went down to McDonalds and had better meal for 8 lbs. For the price that we paid, you could do better and not charge so much."

"Norton House is a gem just a 15 minute drive from the Edinburgh airport, and you don't have to drive through the city to get there. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good. We didn't use the pool or spa, but it looked lovely. We greatly appreciated the free parking. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially as a final destination before your trip to the airport."

"It was almost maze like inside, but was very well marked for guests and the amenities were abundant and enjoyable. The rooms clean and the staff friendly and excited to be of service. Wonderful stay. Thank you, from two Americans who loved to be here. "
