« Unfortunately, the television had cable that included nothing local. NO news, local info, etc. No regular channels. All together a big waste!!! »

« **Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You, Victor!** Victor provided exceptional customer service during our stay at Best Western Ottumwa Inn & Suites. He was incredibly helpful, supportive, and cooperative, and went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed help. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made a real difference in our experience. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests and does everything possible to make their stay comfortable and...

« The house was well furnished with great kitchen supplies, bedding, a great shower, and lovely interior decorations. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the goats were very good at communicating.Highly recommend! »

« This is a wonderful place. It is a cozy but towering space. The loft has what feels like a secret cave into an even cozier space. There is a huge back deck overlooking a wonderful yard. Although this is a private apartment space in a large house holding multiple spaces, it felt like we were all alone. We loved it. Communication was friendly and simple. The hosts were very accomodating. We can't wait to come back :) »

« The free breakfast was crap. Wasn’t nothing but cereal, old toast and premade pancakes you had to microwave. »

« Easy to find and check in. The apartment was historic, and the art was beautiful. I appreciated the communication prior to check in, and the written instructions and local tips in the host's guide book. Downtown was a quick 8 minute walk and very safe for female traveling alone. There are several...

« My stay at the Artist's Sweet Spot was excellent! Customer service from the hosts & owner was prompt. They got back to me quickly on all of my questions. Accessing the property was seamless too. I highly recommend this property! »

« Overall good, clean, hotel room. The restaurant is closed down when I was there in October 2026, which was a bummer. Other than that it was fine. Breakfast was minimal, but fine. I would stay there again. »

« The VRBO is a large penthouse loft. The decor was modern, luxurious, and comfortable. The VRBO has a rooftop hot tub and outdoor game and relaxing space. We enjoyed the large walk in shower. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Fairfield is an eclectic experience and this Penthouse is perfect. You'll enjoy your stay. »

« Very nice cabin with a rustic atmosphere. Loved the view of the river. Very friendly host! »
