« We planned to visit Omaha, however being July, we wanted a lake experience as well. This house was in a beautiful neighborhood and close to the beach area of the lake. We were also only about 10-15 minutes from the zoo, Old Market, etc. We also loved the set up and game room. Perfect for our family of 4. Unfortunately, the beach was closed during our visit, but we still loved the house and location. I would definitely recommend this house and would stay again! »

« The cottage was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the (non-perishable) things you need for cooking. The location was great and the large driveway was perfect for our boat trailer. The only thing to note is you have to walk through a bedroom (which we didn’t need) to get to the 2nd bathroom and back bedroom. Not a big deal for us but something to keep in mind. Everything was clean and Beau was very easy to communicate with. »

« This cottage was adorable, and it was indeed a happy experience I would seek out this home again if returning to Des Moines. The hosts were easy to communicate with, the cottage is roomier than it looks like it would be, with cute decor, a comfortable bed, and an ample bathtub. The neighborhood was quiet, and there were little bunnies hopping around the yard, and deer nearby. It was easy to get around Des Moines from here (and I highly recommend eating at Lucky Lotus or picking up at Fong's...

« You have to walk thru grass to get to the house. There are dead leaves at the front door. Both front and back exterior walls are filthy. The property is described as "waterfront/lakefront" when in fact it's water view/lake view with state owned land between the house and lake. The area around the grill is full of leaves and dirt. There is a camera on the back deck that, to me, is an invasion of privacy. In all fairness, the interior was great and worked out well for everyone there.A day or two...
