"The cottage was very comfortable, particularly the beds. You have to be prepared for the for the bathroom being on the lower level and the lack of television but otherwise it was very nice."

"This is a super cute property on the shore with amazing views. My stay was cut short due to property issues that can happen to anyone at anytime and easily resolved, but things happen to homes. As a home owner, I totally understand this so I would never ding a rental because of this. Kat was amazingly responsive and took care of dealing with this while making sure I was refunded for the day I couldn’t stay there while they fixed the property. Stuff happens and all you can do is deal with random life events; and, during those times it’s so great to have the person involved with problems work with you instead of making it hard for everyone. Kat is very communicative and the property is amazing. I missed out on the second day stay that I was looking forward to, but I will totally return to this amazing property."

"The house was very clean and plenty of room for four of us. We used the barbecue grill and it was clean and worked great. We used the hot tub and it was clean, easy to use, fun and relaxing. Two of us used the kayaks. We had to clean them up and it was rather tricky getting them into the water with the steep grade but it was accomplished. We did not use the fire pit but did try to sit out by it to enjoy the beautiful weather but the only drawback was that the grass had not been mowed and was quite high and the ground was very uneven so it was difficult to walk there or be comfortable. It was very hot upstairs but cooled off at night with window open. We did enjoy both decks. The cushions on the deck furniture could be replaced as they were pretty flat. The lake and view was beautiful. One thing I did not like was the surprise request to buy insurance to cover damages right before paying. The hold alternative is outrageous and the fine print says they could keep any part of it they deemed necessary. Kind felt like you had no choice but to pay for the insurance. That should have been disclosed up front. All in all we had a good stay."
