Coronation Hotel

59 Nevern Square, London - Map
The hotel was very clean and in a lovely area close to the tube station (about 5 minute walk). The only issue was that the room and en suite were extremely compact with little light (one light bulb was out and there was only a tiny window in the corner), but it was fine for the amount of time I spent there and the price of the room. Lovely continental breakfast buffet (additional £5). Great wifi which was free. Staff very friendly.

"Not the best"
great position. however our room was below ground level and didt have any natural light. bathroom had well worn fixtures that constantly leaked. Was liveable but would not call it a pleasant place to stay. Had to pay for wifi by the day at 5 pound per device a day and the hotel staff would not print our boarding passes for our flights. we went to another hotel down the road which helped us out free of charge.

"Everything was fine"
The breakfast was simple yet perfectly laid out. Lots of cheese, turkey, tomatoes etc. The small room was clean and comfortable with a nice tv over the foot of the bed. The bathroom had steaming hot water and plenty of towels. I had supurb nights of sleep. The staff were polite and helpful. They even found a room that I could check into at 10 a.m. rather than the normal 2:30 check in time.

Amsterdam Hotel London

"Veryclose to the Earls court train station. "
Very conveniently located close to the Earls Court train station and only a few underground stops away from the main London touristic locations. Our room was supposed to be for me and my wife but it became very small to move around. Kind of old and need of renovation. However, staff was pleasant and welcoming.

"Good location, good value, small rooms"
We thought this hotel was good value for London. The room was small so is only suitable if you plan to be out and about most of the time, and would probably feel cramped if you were there for a long time. We were there 2 nights and found it fine. The room was perfectly clean. We found the hotel staff friendly. Breakfast was very simple (cereal and toast). About 2 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station.

Rushmore Hotel - London Hotels

Rushmore Hotel

11 Trebovir Road, London - Map
"Excellent Location, Great Value"
Overall top value, especially: Location, Location, Location Other hotels in same neighborhood charged 200-500 USD, much more than the Rushmore's fee. Pros: EasyBus transportation to/from LGW airport convenient, comfortable, reasonably-priced (7 pounds 95/one way); EasyBus stop east 10-min. walk from hotel. Around the corner is Earls Court station (District and Piccadilly Lines), a grocery store, other shops Safe, 1-mile walk to Royal Acad. of Music, Royal Albert Hall, museums 12-minute underground ride to Westminster Pier for Thames River cruises, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament EvanEvans Tour Bus pickup point 5-minute walk away Beds, pillows, blankets extremely comfortable Fresh, nutritious, filling breakfast included with good variety in pleasant breakfast room with glass ceiling, nicely decorated. Cheerful, diligent staff clearly is interested in helping guests enjoy their stay Staff printed out needed paperwork for us, provided maps and directions, stored luggage for us on last day Cons: Although bedding was great, rug can use some updating. It is a basic hotel; Would have appreciated tissue box, larger soap, 2 suitcase racks (one for each of us) Not a luxury-level hotel, so don't expect this. But again, overall, Price+Value = Excellent Hotel. We were more than satisfied. We slept very comfortably and safely, which is the main concern.
