"Not a bad stay to rest after a long day of walking"
Great little hotel, only 5 minutes walk from Asakusabashi train station. Quite a small room, but sufficient for those that spend most of their days out exploring. Plenty of convenience stores around (2mins walk), small supermarket (3mins walk), and located in a quiet peaceful suburb.

"Hotel-Hostel with Japanese Style Rooms"
Friendly staff, they let me do early check in, I got to hotel at 10am and they say it was ok. For a 10 store building, they keep the place very clean, you almost enjoy just going to take a shower. Kitchen is shared, but as many other hotel-hostel, is not busy. Next to it is a small living room. When you travel, you basically need a place to sleep. The Japanese style room is good enough to store your things, plus if you like sleeping on tatami, this is the place. Close to Minami-Senju station; if you know how to use the Tokyo Metro, you can get anywhere else and come back without trouble. Also there are JR and Tsukuba Express. I did check out at 10 am, but I needed to go somewhere at 2pm, they keep my luggage while i was having lunch and after they let me stay in the leaving room, they told me I could even have a nap until I was ready to go and by the way, they let me use the internet access. Excellent place, is a lot of value for your money. Definitely, a place to come back again.

"Close to Sugamo Station, safe and quiet area."
The hotel is a simple place and easy to get to from Sugamo Station (JR), along with the subway/metro that also runs there. It is close to another JR station Otsukaekimae Station should you need it... 700m away. For the price and location it is quite a good buy.

"It is still a hostel"
Where do I begin I left the states for the first time a went on a solo week long trip to Japan. And the wonderful people at k,s gave me a place to call home while I was there and the variety of difrent people of all kinds of nationalities going thru that place ment that the couple of night I mostly stayed holes upnin the hostel because this terrible blister I picked up where by no means wasted, in fact they became some of the more memorable evenings I had in japan . I would stay there again in a heartbeat, are that is to say I hope I get to stay there again, the sooner the better. Just watch out for the plumb wine that stuff will get right on top of ya.

"Eclectic little stay"
Very cute hotel with fantastic location. The lobby is very funky but the rooms are very basic. The staff is great but wasn't able to provide me a 2nd pillow since the bed wasn't so comfortable. If you need to do laundry, plan on 3-4 hours for your clothing to dry.

"We loved this hotel!"
Pleasant easy safe walk along beautiful path to hotel in an interesting neighborhood. The front desk staff was very helpful with our questions about Tokyo and the use of the transportation systems. The room was very nice with more amenities than most fancy US hotels, small yes, but we did not visit Tokyo to sit in our room! There was a nice variety of places to eat very close to the hotel. The AC worked well, and there was always warm water in the shower, clean, comfortable and quiet. Just pay attention when you first arrive on the train platform to leave out the "East' exit...we were tired and did not pay attention, but a very kind gentleman walking his dog helped us find the hotel and then it was smooth sailing. If you go left out of the front door of the hotel and follow the path to the next big intersection, there is a huge grocery store as well as a Lawson's convenience store across the street....very interesting! The fish market is still there, so plan to visit when you wake up the first morning at 3am! We stayed 5 nights.

"Awesome location, more of a hostel or motel."
It was clean and the staff was nice, with a great location (~15 min walk from Akihabara). A train station was just around the corner, it was surrounded by convenience stores. Sadly, it only offers shared bathrooms and it is a smoking hotel. The room that I got stank of cigarette smoke and We needed to seriously air it out and buy an air freshner. The shared bathrooms do not have stall showers, and you will see everyone naked. There is the option of borrowing the family washroom at night for those that do not want to do that, but it is a bit of a hassle. Also, the pillows are bean bag pillows. If you don't mind the smell and sharing bathrooms, it has a great location and it's very cheap.
