But very affordable compared to other laundry services in hotels. The only other complaint I have is that the walls in the rooms are nasty, a lot of stains and grime all over them. But other than that the rooms are pretty clean and the staff are wonderful, they are so kind and helpful. This is a basic hotel in a convenient location, and for me it was perfect. It was very clean, very quiet, with good water pressure, wonderful staff, and the most comfortable mattress I've had while traveling. I mean, a GREAT mattress - firm but not hard, no dips, felt like a new mattress. I was not a fan of the pillows but I believe this is a Japan issue for me rather than a hotel-specific issue. If you want fancy, this is probably not the place for you. If you want quiet, comfortable, clean and an easy walk to Ueno and multiple train stations, and you don't need a lot of space (I had one medium suitcase and a daypack) I highly recommend this place. I was here for 6 nights and would stay here again.
