"Ella's Nature Nest is a beautiful spot to spend a few days in a peaceful setting. Close to town, but quiet, the owners are welcoming and hospitable and breakfast is included (not mentioned when booking). Wonderful location to wake up to with stunning views and birdsong. "You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Galle than this. One of the best places I’ve stayed in for a long time. I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. Free tea and coffee all day and the use of a fridge and freezer was amazing. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. "

"Foods are okay. Damaged/torn bedding and towels, dust came from the ceiling, used/dirty duvet covers, one bed was broken and kept top of the on the wood, outdated shower room. Not value for money. "

"The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"No toiletries, didn’t feel safe, it’s in a corner of the town that is hidden and hard to find. It was sketchy. There’s a net on the roof of the bathroom so anyone can come see inside from above; no privacy. People can see inside through the curtains. The staff were nice. Definitely not worth it for the price!!!"

"We loved staying here. The owner was incredibly kind and let us return after our check out time to shower. The wifi unfortunately was not working during our stay but the rooms were clean and ready for us when we stayed. The beds were comfy, and having the option of a ceiling fan or an aircon was helpful to keep cool. The location was a little confusing since it was behind in the alley, however, tucked away made it less busy to access. "
