« This home was very unique and filled with charm! We loved learning the history of Haines Shoes and the history of the Shoe House. We found the home to have all the comforts of home away from home. The home is decorated beautifully, very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the family room is wonderful for relaxing in the evening. We did not have time for the hot tub and fire pit but hope to the next time we visit. »

« My wife and I stayed here for a weekend away for our anniversary. The cabin was clean well kept and a complete joy. Waking up to the sound of the birds, relaxing in the jacuzzi, and enjoying the quiet gave us just what we needed. Time together without the everyday distractions of life. »

« There were four adults who shared apartment A. It was a great place to just "hang out." We enjoyed sitting around the fire ring listening to the birds and walking over to see the horses and deer in the field. We only stayed two nights. The beds were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was equipped with most of what you would need, although we could have used a grater for cheese and a baking dish. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time and would stay here again. »

« This apartment is so pretty. It was very comfortable. There were snacks from local companies, Utz chips and Hershey chocolate which was very thoughtful. There was coffee pods, oil and spices, some drinks in the fridge. In the bathroom were some toiletries and body wash/shampoo were provided. « Very clean beautiful home inside and outside. Everything worked perfectly. Does have road noise when trying to sleep and front drive is very close highway which cars drive rather fast on. Must be careful with small children or dogs out front door. Back of home and side yard is much safer. »

« The home was exactly as listed, plus more. A great river home with many rooms and 3 full bathrooms. My husband and I came to celebrate his 50th birthday and we had family come over to celebrate. Everyone kept talking about how lovely the home and location is. It comes stocked with everything you need, which is a stress reliever. Communication with the owner was great and his flexibility was highly appreciated. Hot tub worked well and felt so relaxing on a cold night. »

"Nous avons un chien d'assistance et nous avons été très mal reçu dès notre arrivée (faire attention à la propreté de la chambre car vous avez un chien). Le lendemain matin nous avons dû sortir de l'air des repas car j'étais accompagné de mon chien d'assistance (il était très calme pourtant, il a suivi une formation). Je peux faire quelques voyage à cause de mon chien, sans lui je dois rester à la maison. Il nous accompagne en avion et partout en voyage, c'est la première fois que nous sommes si mal accueillis. Je ne retournerai plus à cet endroit et je ne conseil pas cet hôtel au gens qui comme moi ont un handicap."
