Recently stood at this property for Memorial Day Weekend checked in on May 22nd and to say the least it was pouring down raining. Arrival at the airport was organized (customs), transportation was booked through expedia that was convenient. I booked a Xhale Club Suite w/pool view. The room I was in was partial pool view, the jacuzzi was not working, the room was outdated and all depending on your neighbors it can get a bit noisy. At the Xhale club lounge there is a sign displayed for members to have they card for access to the lounge/VIP. Anyone can access this lounge as they were not checking for room cards. The food restaurants, entertainment, and housekeeping were okay. Beach area there were a lot of locals soliciting so be careful. The bartenders Daniel and Jhon were amazing. The spa experience at Dreams was a great experience. Overall I would rate this resort a 6/10.

The Resort was ok. From check-in your greeted with a drink. Front desk was nice and very fast. After checking in, you get pulled aside for an opportunity to get a time-share. (Luckily the staff wasn’t pushy) took an extra 10 minutes. From there, they send you off to your room. The room was simple. King bed, white sheets, closet, safe, jetted tub on the balcony. The room was great. Spacious, and water was hot for a shower. Dining Options: skip room service. The food is dry, bland, unseasoned…etc. the “fried chicken” looked raw/unsafe to eat. However, it wasn’t raw, I pulled apart a choice bone to see. Just wasn’t appetizing. The club sandwich was bland, fries cold. Overall, don’t order room service, not worth the drunky munchies. Now, main dining options for the resort. The Spoon Buffet for bread eat was actually pretty good, food was tasty, lots of variety. I’d go again. Culiaria had fantastic scallops and the ambiance was great. I’d go again. Hibachi: standard run of the mill hot table. Make a reservation . It’s a personal quiet setting with other guests so that was neat. Steampunk Dinner and Show: this was great experience. The menu was simple yet tasty. 4-5 course meal, after dinner get a VIP table with some champagne the DJ was doing well, the Dancers had fun. Would see it again for the experience Romantic Dinner on the beach: this was more for the final night to unwind and relax take in the sunset and talk to that significant other. Just the two of you

The property is beautiful and so clean. Staff at the front desk was just ok honestly but the restaurant, bar, and entertainment staff was amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable. They do get a little moist but we kept the room cool and our doors closed and that helps. Food is great for an all inclusive. Pools are lively and fun. There’s always an activity happening at the main pool. And although our room was facing the pool the room was pretty sound proof. The beach is beautiful. However, every 10 mins someone is walking up asking you if you want to buy something and some even haggle. We quickly became annoyed by this. That would be my only complaint. But overall I would highly recommend!

The staff, especially Janna, our concierge, were very friendly and always willing to help. Kept in communication during the entire stay. What I did not appreciate is that our mini bar only got replenished if I told Janna it had not been done after a couple of days. The hotel offers a ride to the nearby shopping, however the drivers only want you to shop at "their" store and get upset if you don't. Inclusively, on one occasion, since we did not shop at "his" store, he did not give us a ride back and had to walk back. Entertainment, especially during the day is almost non existant. The entertainment team made no effort to get to interact with the guests. They came out to dance and then walked away. At least this was the case in both pool areas. Unless the concierge provided the schedule for the day, it was not easily accessible. Otherwise, it was a nice experience. Not sure I will be staying here again.

the snorkeling option was great the beach area is absolutely perfect , exhale club is a nice touch but then you miss the lunch buffet which is very good as well. i feel like the nightly entertainment could be a bit better and the room service options should be more different than the restaurant options

From checking in to checking out my family of 5 had a wonderful visit. For us the food was very good, from the buffet and especially the Italian restaurant. The staff were all friendly. The bartenders at the swim up pool were mazing, especially the Alberto’s at the relaxing pool. Would recommend this resort and definitely would go back! This is an adult only resort and going here you need to understand that going in. We had a great time!

I was really excited about our stay at breathless when we originally booked it. Unfortunately, the whole experience was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. Whilst they advertise a 5 star luxurious experience (and the price tag to accompany @ ~$500/night), this is nothing more than a motel 6 by the beach. Room was dirty, smelled of smoke & mold, loud neighbors, and food was subpar. We were able to salvage the remainder of our vacation and left after 1 night and moved to another hotel in the area (cheaper and cleaner!). Would not recommend.

Check in needs more personnel and if you waiting for your room you shouldnt wait on line again they should have another system. Check pit should also have another system. Rooms are big and have everything you need. Food is decent not great. If you want to party this is the place , entertainmemt in pool was great. Staff are very cuatomer service oriented

Overall the resort is nice and worth the stay. Very clean and staff was also very good! Janna was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed for our stay and updated us with daily info. The food was okay. Now for the don’t likes 1.Swim up pool is move of a walk up cause it doesn’t directly connect to the room like other hotels which I paid more to have and wasn’t really worth it 2. The pool closed at 7 and the swim up bars closed at 6 which was terrible being we were on the adult only resort but everything was closed early. 3. The club didn’t open until 10pm but closed at 1 4. The Mexican restaurant was only open on Mondays and Wednesdays and we stayed from Thursday - Monday 5. The food they had was more Americanized and wasn’t really Dominican food so that was disappointing But again the hotel was very clean and nice and still a great experience nothing less.

This was our second visit. The food was incredible. The resort is just the right size and has quiet or lively areas. The service is friendly and upbeat, the beach beautiful. The resort is very clean. There was one night of entertainmethat was too erotic so we left. The rest of the performers were excellent! Cant wait to return.

This resort was very pretty. Our experience at this resort however was not great. There was never a bartender at the vip bars, when it came time for us to get the golf carts back to our rooms we were told it will take 20-30 mins. The staff was not very kind or helpful, they barely even spoke or understood English. To top it all off they lost our luggage the first say we got there. I will never be visiting this resort again.
