Pictures advertising hotel did not match room. Outdated and worn out furniture. Comforter had stains on it. Bath tub did not drain properly. Just a general sense of uncleanliness.

The parking was terrible, the rooms were not the greatest, and there was a lot of confusion amongst staff. Also, while we were there we saw 3 different people ask for a refund and be denied. However, it was walkable distance to Old Montreal which was a plus.

While the property itself is quite decent for the price. What was so terrible was the time spent waiting to be checked-in. My wife spent almost an hour to get check-in with only 5 people in front of her. The lady spent 10-15 mins per person. I have never been to a hotel that took more than 5 mins to check-in. Either their system is super slow or the lady is not trained at all. To the management of Lelux Hotel, do yourself a favour, train your staff well and improve check-in time. The place is good, check-in is horrible.

The room we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. The window was broken, the toilet was broken, there was mold in the sink and in the shower and the bathroom lights worked 1 out of 2 times. Also, the AC wasn’t working in our room and when we asked the front desk to fix it they told us there’s nothing they can do and we had to suck it up until our stay ends. They didn’t fix it until I went crying at the reception cuz the room was reaching 28 degrees and it became unsupportable. To the point I had an asthma attack during the night. I am honestly disgusted at the staff’s constant attitude and the room.

Front desk staff were indifferent. Both times I went to the front desk with a question each of the two staff were on their personal cell phones. When I posed my question and asked for their help, they looked at me like I was inconveniencing them. I had asked them how to access the nearby parking garage - I was parked inside, but there was no entry for pedestrians - and, at 6:00am on a deserted Sunday, their solution was to "wait until another car goes in." Carrying my luggage, I had to walk the street and hail down cars and ask strangers to pull up to the garage door so that I could get inside and get to my car. Neither of the front desk staff were helping anyone else at this time and it would have been greatly appreciated if they had made any effort to assist me.

Staff was helpful and the property was clean. For an extra fee there was indoor parking. The building showed some age but it was comfortable overall.

On May 4th, 2024, I made a reservation through Expedia for a room at the Lelux Hotel in Montréal, Quebec. The reservation, which I made with the expectation of a clean and comfortable stay, quickly turned into a nightmare due to severe issues with cleanliness and pest infestation. Upon arrival at the hotel, it was evident that the depiction of the property on Lelux Hotel's website did not match the reality. Despite claims of cleanliness and modern facilities, the entire premises were overrun with cockroaches. This unsanitary condition not only violated basic standards of hygiene but also posed a significant health risk to guests. I was assigned room 504. Upon entering the room and placing my belongings, I immediately noticed cockroaches crawling over my personal items. Shockingly, these pests were not confined to a single area; they were present in the bathtub, on the walls, and even on the desk. The attached photos provide visual evidence of the appalling conditions I encountered. Seeking a resolution, I approached the front desk to request a refund and expressed my desire to vacate the premises. To my dismay, the staff refused to provide a refund and instead offered to change my room. This gesture was futile as they reassigned me to a room with only one bed, contrary to my original booking for a room with two beds.

The advertisement was deceptive. The rooms were not all fully renovated. The first room I was in was inadequate.(0ld) However, the next day I was upgraded to a better room. The breakfast only served various types of bread and cereal. The name Lelux sounds luxurious, however, it was way below my standards. I was surprised that Expedia has it on their website.

I found the place accommodating though service at the front desk was very to check slow to check in and lacking in areas even if were really nice. The room was ok but there was no mini fridge and the room was so hot! ( ridiculous for nothing ) and couldn't even turn it down ! ( Broken system) ! But I guess for the area and price, overall ok

I would not recommend staying here- staff was not accommodating or welcoming upon arrival, we waited well over an hour to check in, they have a $250 damage deposit that can only be paid by credit card- after doing so and getting out our room we noticed the room smelled terribly of marijuna after going back down and waiting at the front desk for another half hour we got a new room that looked as if it was barely cleaned. The breakfast that is included was 2 kinds of cereal and some pastries, and most of the time they were out of milk and coffee. Multiple times our room key completely stopped working and we had to keep going back down to the desk to get them to fix it which was extremely inconvenient considering the elevator took about 10mins and we had to take the stairs everytime. Even though there is an elevator there is still stairs to get to the rooms! Be aware if you are physically incapable of stairs or have ALOT of luggage like we did and have to carry it up.

Very clean, quiet and organized. The building seem to have received a good renovation, the room and common areas look really good. I was not able to use the parking at the property, it gets filled up pretty fast. I used a public parking down the street which is not ideal, but it was ok to me. Breakfast is simple, but convenient.

Several Broken Windows in room. A/C did not work. No microwave, they did finally provide one. Great location near Metro, Grocery store and other markets, Church and not that far of a walk to Old Pier.

There was only two couples ahead of us in line and it took over an hour to check in. The front desk attendant was not very helpful and had no idea where we could find a parking spot for overnight. Terrible service!!

It was terrible, not clean at all, they didn’t change counterpane when they were doing the cleaning service, the room wich I got wasn’t clean and new like the photos, it was old and different, all stuff there was old.

Terrible breakfast, unorganized and constantly running out of items. Total chaos. Bathroom fixtures chipped and cracked Easy to hear through walls. Parking lot is very tight and not good for small trucks or suv Of note empire suites and lelux are the same hotel
