The staff Alexandra and Antonio were unbelievably gracious and helpful. I would alert potential guests that there are many, many steps! Food was outstanding. Sunsets from the plunge pool...other worldly.

Lovely hotel and location. Perfect spot in Finikia close enough to walk into Oia. Staff were really nice, the hotel is quite small (10 rooms / suites) I think, so most of the time we had the main pool area to ourselves. Breakfast was really nice. Can’t think of any negatives really. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Amazing! The views, breakfast, location, and staff were awesome. My mom and I were so happy with our stay. The staff were so kind especially the bartender, front desk lady during the day and at night. They were able to arrange massages in our rooms, ordered us food to be delivered, and answered so many questions. The view from our room was great and this is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for somewhere low key, but beautiful. Breakfast was beautifully laid out every morning and we will be back!

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution against staying at this hotel if you value courteous and attentive service. The combination of a dirty and misrepresented establishment with an unfriendly and unprofessional staff made for an overall unpleasant stay. I believe there are far better options available that can provide both a clean and welcoming environment, as well as staff members who genuinely care about the satisfaction of their guests.

Beautiful property. We received a fruit platter upon arrival but there is no food in the area this time of year. That was a unfortunate but the fruit and wine at check in helped. The parking lot is a little hard to find. It is off the main road and you should not follow your digital map as you will have to back up a very narrow road from where the hotel is actually located. Unfortunately, no one was answering the reception when we called for location help but they were there when we arrived on foot. Please note the plunge pool is not warm enough in early/mid March but it was very clean and beautiful. We loved our stay here but my comments are to help manage expectations. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast is wonderful. The location does not case the caldera but the view is phenomenal especially at sunset.

I do not leave reviews often but I felt like I needed to after staying here. Let me start by saying it is a beautiful property that is well maintained and clean. With that being said, make sure you look at the square footage of the room you’re booking prior to actually booking it. Our room was a superior double room with plunge pool and was extremely small. I was traveling with my best friend, and the only shower in the room is completely open with no curtain or door. There is no privacy in the room. If you are a private person this is not for you. There is also no space to store anything. Our plunge pool didn’t look like it was cleaned prior to our stay, however we did see it being cleaned during our stay, but it becomes dirty very easily without even using it. The most unfortunate part of our stay was our interaction with the receptionist. He was rude and not helpful. We inquired about taking the bus (with the bus stop being quite literally outside the hotel) and he refused to give us information, and only provided us information to take a private transfer ($15 to Oia and $35 to Fira). Oia is not more than a 15 minute walk, and it’s $1.60 by bus, so this seemed ridiculous. We ended up asking the staff at a nearby restaurant to assist us, which proved to be much more helpful. The rest of the staff and the other receptionist were very nice and welcoming.

Just far enough away from OIA to be quiet and restful. Only 15 minute walk to the crowds of OIA. There was a wonderful restaurant only 5 minutes walk (Lefkes) where we had the best dinner of our trip at a very reasonable price. The view to the Aegean Sea from our room and the pool area was beautiful. We could watch the sunset while sitting at our small, private pool right outside our room. At night, we left the front door open for the cool night air. The rooms are very private. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They can arrange outings or transportation. If we go back to Santorini, we will stay there again.

Sophia Boutique Hotel was fabulous! Cozy room with great shower. Highlight was the private plunge pool that was heated and absolutely amazing! Staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating to all requests. Full service hot breakfast included daily which was delicious and a great perk. About 15-20 minute walk to Oia so may be good to rent a car or bike. 2 really amazing restaurants nearby that we frequented often. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Where to begin with our spectacular stay at Sophia Boutique Hotel? First, the entire staff is the most accomodating group on the entire island of Santorini. They made our arrival transportation from the ferry port to the hotel as easy as possible, which was a huge relief as someone visiting Greece for the first time. Upon our arrival, our bags were brought to our room while Anna Maria helped us plan our week. Each morning, we were pleasantly greeted with a personalized breakfast platter that's arranged each prior day from a wide range of options. Once you experience a service like that, it sets the bar for every hotel you plan to visit in the future. If you have any special occasions you're celebrating during your time in Santorini, the team at Sophia Boutique Hotel will make it even more special. They went out of their way to arrange flowers, candles, champagne, and a whole cake as a surprise for our return from a day spent in Oia. If you're planning to visit Santorini, your first choice when deciding on a hotel should be Sophia Boutique Hotel.

Lovely hotel and staff are just so wonderful, really cannot do enough for you. Beds are so comfortable, robes etc all provided and toiletries in room. Plunge pools are a lovely little addition! Hotel is not caldera facing but there are plenty of places nearby to see the sunset and we would definitely choose to stay here again. Breakfast served to your door / terrace each morning is fab and such good quality. Hotel is about a 15-20 min walk into Oia town with a mini market and car rental along the route. Great option just out of the town away from busy Oia, although we visited during the pandemic so nowhere was too busy and we got the opportunity to see Santorini in a more chilled way than normal.

The perfect peaceful alternative to central Oia
This hotel is a real gem and everything we hoped it would be. It’s a 10 min walk from Oia (uphill on the way back) which we were happy to do as it meant the hotel was more peaceful and private, being outside the hustle and bustle of the main town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making suggestions for restaurants, arranging reservations and checking in on us regularly to ensure we were having a good trip. The rooms are small but beautifully designed and decorated and the plunge pool was just perfect. We had the triple room with just 3 people staying but the outside area was larger than the standard double rooms and we really enjoyed this extra space and spent most of our time here. The breakfasts are incredible, a good variety, big portions and nice to be able to take it on your terrace or by the pool. My only comments on improvements would be around the housekeeping. The rooms were clean but frequently they forgot to restock things such as hand towels and cups (which they forgot nearly every day). Once we asked reception these items were brought immediately but it would have been nice not to need to ask. However this was a small inconvenience for an otherwise brilliant stay. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again if I was returning to Santorini

This hotel was updated , looked just like the pictures. Beautiful pool and views onto the caldera. The staff was friendly and helpful . The rooms are small, and the hotel conveniently located right across the street from the bus stop and there’s free parking if you have a rental . The surrounding area is quiet but there are a few places you can dine within walking distance . The only thing I would suggest is if you have an elderly person with you this might not be an ideal place , the hotel has a steep decline/incline you need to use to access it . However , the staff is accommodating and will help with your bags .

Amazing !! It’s the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Room 105 was superb - personal plunge pool, gorgeous room, comfy bed ! I can not recommend enough ! The staff was warm and welcoming. They helped me with my luggage from my transfer and were super helpful with anything i needed.

The owner of this hotel must have good taste, and style. It is BEAUTIFUL! We got the Junior suites which has outdoor jetted tub on 2nd floor. The breakfast is AWESOME. It is made to order, delicious & plenty. the only downside is just the unit is so small. It’s hard to put the luggage But we finally get used to it. Sophie on the front desk is warm & very kind. If you take bus from fira, they will drop you off right in front of the alley way to go to the property. You’ll see the sign. We arrived by bus to the hotel but ended up renting a car for the rest of our stay after waiting for 40 min in the bus station to go to Fira for money exchange. The bus schedule is uncertain and sometimes they won’t stop if it’s full. All in all we LOVE this place. ps: They also give souvenirs at the end, which is really appreciated.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful, they organised a trip for is at the last minute for the next morning. The room was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and there was so noise at night so you could get a great night sleep. We loved our private jacuzzi/plunge pool area. It was a real sun trap so we spent a lot of time there. The pool and bar area was really nice too. There was a good vibe around the place. The breakfast was a highlight. Loads of choice and good quality. It was really clean. About a ten-fifteen minute walk into the town where there is loads of nice restaurants to watch the sunset. Overall, I couldn't fault it.
