At times it's difficult to fault parts of the experience at this hotel, but we couldn't help feeling that it is overall disappointing. We did not go all inclusive because we only stayed for three days and that may have some bearing on this review. Let's start with the good things. The food is very good, the breakfast is excellent, as are the Vertigo, beach bar and restaurant. Taverna Maria (not part of the hotel) is highly recommended. The beach is brilliant (and managed by a friendly chap). The facilities are good too - pool, sunloungers and extras like the tennis courts. The staff are very polite and speak excellent English too. They are very welcoming and helpful at all stages. But overall, it did feel underwhelming. The rooms and the bathrooms in particular have a sewage smell and there's no shifting it. I couldn't help feeling the drinks are watered down (not great if you're not all inclusive) and perhaps the overall feeling with this type of resort (catering for the masses) is that you don't get the small touches that make a 5 star holiday really memorable. This hotel is great (especially the beach) if you're a person who's happy with a traditional package holiday, but for anyone who likes to explore, due to the remoteness, it probably isn't for you.

I was surprised that this hotel was given a 5 star rating. It is at best a 3.5 to 4 star hotel. There were many areas that needed upgrading, repainting and cleaning for instance the pool and in the rooms. The towels were grey and everything looked a little tired. Buffet selection was limited and was samey day to day. Staff whilst on the whole were lovely also seemed to be short with some of the requests. Not somewhere I would recommend or would go back to.

Present from Expedia. Nice and comfy for a day but not a spot we would have chosen ourselves. Right spot for people who like all inclusive, adults only and stick to just the resort. No surprises to be found here besides funny towel voucher system and all day empty taken chairs in the poolarea. Price per night compared to look and feel of total complex and facilities does not add up here.

La variedad de comida es escasísima. Y se paga muy cara, no hay servicio de carta para comer. Solo hamburguesas, sandwich, etc. No es de recibo eso en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Y el buffet de la cena muy escaso. No hay pescados??? Y la carne siempre la misma. Y no hay ningín sitio para cenar en alrededores, con carreteras malísimas. EL sitio del hotel y la piscina increíbles. Tuvimos suerte con nuestra ubicación de habitación, pero ojo que como te toque otro emplazamiento, puedes acabar harta de subir y bajar, que están muy lejos de la piscina y zonas de desayuno y comida. Firmas tikets de todo lo que pides, pero no te dan ningún comprobante o copia. Así que me sentí que firmaba y pagaba al final de mi estancia, a ojos cerrados.
