The property was clean and the staff was working hard to make everything ok. However, they were very short staffed and the property showed signs of barely recovering from the last hurricane damage. Location was good. On property parking was limited but there appeared to be good on-street parking. Near dock front area.

very run down but we only needed an inexpensive place to spend the night and it served that purpose.

Remember that this is a very old town,so being on the gulf it looks old and run down and it is. So if thats not what you are into, stay away and don't give a bad review.. You may scare away a lot of folks that may like the old history and are not looking for the Ritz to stay in..

The motel as well as the whole town of Cedar Key is still recovering from a devastating hurricane less than a year ago so many services are lacking. The motel was clean, the bed was good but the sheets were probably polyester so they felt a little “sweaty”. All in all a nice experience if you do not expect anything fancy
