When we arrived, Alex the hotel helper at check in desk, told us we would receive $100 dollars since we were guests to use for what we wanted, such as a water park and that we would receive a free breakfast as well. He scheduled our breakfast for monday morning at 8am but when we arrived were told we would have to sit for a 90min hotel presentation. We told the manager at the desk we had not been notified of any presentation and that we had a child with autism who could not sit through a presentation. The manager apologized and we had to give the $100 dollars back. Then we received a phone message at our hotel during stay from Alex stating he could reschedule our "free breakfast" and thought we hadn't gone because of our daughters birthday? There was a dirty rag in our hotel behind bathroom door hanging when we arrived. First hotel/resort that doesn't supply shampoo. Otherwise room was spacious and grounds were nice.

“EXCLLENT STAY”

I had a wonderful time staying at the Sheraton Vistana. the place was amazing and way above my expectations.. I would highly recommend this to a friend and I sure know where I'll be staying next time I go to orlando

“The place was exceptional”

The location was excellent-we went to both universal and disney and both were within 10 minutes. The place is self contained and you could enjoy your stay without having to go anywhere else if you wanted to.

“Back, again”

Returned here for the sixth time in 20-some-odd years. First became acquainted with the resort through a familial timeshare stay and later bookings were either through Expedia or Sheraton, itself. Other than timeshare experience, all stated reservation requests for lodging in particular areas/rooms were completely disregarded. Twice, in prior years, I had to request relocation to other units due to mildewy, substandard conditions, and failure to accommodate bed requests (ie: The Courts section had two TWIN beds in the second bedroom at the time). Each request for relocation was, ultimately, granted...but only grudgingly by the front desk staff who seemed annoyed. Lucked out last year when we happened to be assigned a unit that exceeded expectations based on prior experience. Requested that same unit/section this year and was shunt off again but very satisfied with the unit assigned. Believe that all units at the resort have now been renovated and upgraded, so there should be no issues. Don't expect to book and NOT be bombarded with offers for timeshare sales [Just say no, and don't answer your phone/listen to voicemails!] Can say that all Gate security staff were pleasant and accommodating, and that the housekeeper[s] who serviced our unit was/were fantastic. Very thorough and orderly. Tip well if you have the same experience!! In all six times I've been there, the housekeeping staff have been wonderful and worked their butts off! VERY grateful for that!

Dined at Victoria & Albert's this year. Very nice setting, great food/wine, and - above all - excellent service [Shout out to Beantown and W. Virginia servers!]...Also loved the Harpist! Wonderful, fun experience!

“Careless”

It took 4 hours for them to check us in to our room. I have been to this hotel many time before because of the deals that are available but this past time may be the last time. I know what the rooms look like and I am aware that after all the renovation that has been done, it is possible to get a newer room. They thought it was worth trying to put us in this tiny corner room the size of a bathroom. Not very happy. After entering the room we called the front desk and made it clear that we are not going to stay in that type of room for the week long stay. They quickly replied apologetically and told us to return to the welcome desk to pick up our new keys to the room we requested. Why did we need to wait 4 hours for a cramped up old room and when we complained, they magically had the one we wanted available. This was the last time I will be visiting the sheraton Vistana resort. Over 20 years of our loyalty to them and they still treat us like garbage. No thank you.

“Beautiful place to stay!!”

Overall, this resort was fantastic. It is a time-share property, but the staff never bother you to attend a seminar. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. The pools and other facilities are very clean. It really does not matter which area that you stay on..Fountains or Cascade. Cascade has the grocery store and sit-down restaurants, as well as the fast food restaurants. Fountains only have the fast food. The security throughout the resort is great. A key is needed to enter each area. Staff are very polite and accommodating. The only negative comment I have is that this resort does not include free continental breakfast as indicated on Expedia. When I checked in I showed that my reservation included free continental breakfast; the staff were surprised. They offered me $$ to eat at one of their restaurants each morning. Very nice. It is very close to all the theme parks and shopping. The furthest mall is about 20 minutes away. You are given directions to each place on a print-out. Walmart is 5 minutes away, which is great if you want to buy groceries or Disney souvenirs. It is opened 24 hours. There are 2 outlet malls-Premium and Buenna Vista 10 minutes away. Restaurants are very close as well. But, honestly, you really do not need to go to restaurants as the condos have full kitchens, if you want to save money and cook. Great place to stay...I would definitely return!! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

“NIce but flawed”

We requested one of the renovated rooms, the quality of the furnishings were very good. We asked for two double beds, but we were provided with a King room. Two main issues during our stay: 1) Wifi was supposed to be included with the room price, but it was unavailable due to one reason or another (several excuses they provided included weather, high volume technical issues), free Wifi was one of the main reason why we had decided to stay at the hotel; and 2) sound proofing is almost non existent, you will here the conversation of anyone who is staying in the adjacent room. Management need to pay special attention to cleanliness, especially getting rid of stain on furniture and carpets. In all other aspects, the hotel was fine.

“Ready to Go Back”

My family love the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. We have been here twice and both times were great. They have so many activities planned throughout the day at the resort for adults, children and the entire family. The Cascades pool is our favorite pool because the pool accomadates all ages. Also, the resort is only minutes away from the local attractions. However the only problem with the location of the resort is that, becuase it's so busy in Lake Buena Vista due to theme parks; you can find it difficult exiting the resort because of the traffic. We stayed in the Falls Villas at the resort and our room was great. The kids had their own room and we had our room. Full kitchen with cookware and utensils; all you need to bring is the food/snacks/drinks for the fridge, if you want. The beds were comfortable and all rooms were clean; including the bathrooms. Like I said, my family enjoy staying here.
