The suite was perfectly adequate, a clean decent size one bedroom apartment. However, the kitchen/eating area is very dark, needs more light. Instructions on how to adjust the thermostat would have been helpful as it was uncomfortably warm in the suite. Opening a window helped some but very noisy. Also, having your cleaning staff use unscented laundry detergent to wash bedding and linen would be a benefit to those people who are very fragrance sensitive. I would have thought that anyone renting out an apartment would do this as a matter of course. The building concierge was very helpful. All in all, a good place to stay for a few days. Oh and have someone adjust the very large clock on the wall (not everything automatically changes for DST).

The instructions provided for checkin that I punch in # at the apartment screen, then the provided code. There was no pound sign and I was suppose to ignore the invalid room prompt the screen was saying, then it worked. So I stood at the screen for 10 minutes clueless. The room was not as clean as desired. The room size and kitchen was great. Homeless people loitering around the liquor store on the main floor.

Would not recommend to others or stay again!
The biggest downfall with this condo was, these three things. The first was gaining access. The second was cleanliness, and the third was the deposit. - You need a fob to get into the entrance of the building. Once you’re in the entrance you can put the code in to get the fob. Do you see the problem here you need the fob to get in to get the fob so we ended up waiting for a resident that would let us in so we could get access to the keypad so we could get access to the fob. So we could have access to the condo. It wasn’t straightforward or easy. It took probably a little over 45 minutes. We were just lucky we didn’t have at tight schedule. -when we got access to the condo we were happy with how everything looked. It was how it was described in the ad BUT when we went to bed there were crumbs in the sheets and we noticed the bed stunk like perfume on the pillows but not other places and the sheets definitely had perfume smell and cologne from previous occupants, the bed was not clean the sheets had crumbs in them! -the third problem we had was the deposit they take their sweet time getting you your deposit back. It would be nice if it was a keep your credit card on file and charge you if there’s problems, like most hotels, but it’s a charge deposit that they take well over a week to get back to you still waiting on getting my deposit back. We actually left the apartment cleaner then we got it so I will be really disappointed if we don’t get the full deposit back.

Communication and customer service was awful from the beggining. The amount of info and pictures they needed with unclear and misleading direction made it a long and frustrating online check in process. One bedroom had a smell that was almost unbearable. Along with the bedding and pillows. There was cleaning supplies left on the ground and we had to put away dishes that was left in the dishwasher. Lights and plugs throughout were not working. Only one elevator was working so it took 10 minutes just to get down to the lobby. But the views were amazing!

The pictures for this apartment are misleading. Its advertised as modern its far from that but as it was holiday week i had limited alternative options. Seems like they don't always do a good job cleaning between customers as the dryer still had stuff in it. Dishwasher was still loaded and one of the 2 sink basins had dried pasta under the sink strainer. Location was good and convenient. It has potential to be a good place just needs some TLC and higher standards for he money they charge.

Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.
Horrible to work with. Communicated once with me via phone than could only ever get information via email. Didnt communicate that the parking garage has huge height restrictions. Wanted all of our photo id's without providing a privacy policy, do not understand why because it is self check in. They say it's professional cleaned, but it isn't. Was not willing to refund me the 3rd guest charges, saying they can't change the reservation, but they had me change the guests name twice. They have stopped communicating with me now. SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Yes it looks nice from the photos but the upkeep has been poor. Because of the issues I was having I felt it was best to just document everything and bring it up at the end, but they use every excuse in the book to not have a conversation with you. Read the review, every negative review says we will bring it up with the management team. To paraphrase we have your money go F*$K yourself, we dont care anymore. And guess what, they hold all the cards once they have your money and you realize that you missed the deadline to cancel. you want photos see my other review.

The instructions to enter the property should be a little more detailed. The apartment itself needs to be updated. The carpet looks awful and the beds are not at all comfortable. Lighting especially in the kitchen area is not very good.

As a travelling business man it was nice to have an actual home over a another hotel room to relax in. Being able to eat in and not another fatty restaurant meal is always appreciated. Only issue was that I was not able to watch live sports on the TV.

The property is beautiful once you can get in!! The first door is locked . You need to get past this to then put in your access code. Then you need to get into the condo, get a key fob. Go back to your car in the street. Find the parking garage. Drive all the way to level 3. Find the spot. Make sure you walk to the correct building. Basically a big pain !!

After payment, the host requested both a passport photo and a selfie holding the passport. This invasive request raised serious concerns about potential misuse of personal information, such as identity theft or fraud. Additionally, the terms and conditions provided by the host post-payment were inconsistent with what was advertised on Expedia. Expedia has yet to help us obtain a refund. Travelers should exercise caution when booking through Expedia and thoroughly research properties and hosts to avoid such situations.

Arrived at property 19 minutes early but management won’t let you in until the clock strikes 3pm. One shower - bathtub clogged up so you are standing in water while showering. 2nd bathroom shower head blocked up/not working. Informed management at 7.27qm and that we would be out for the day and could they please fix both showers. Sent several reminders throughout the day and asked them to confirm receipt Of my message. They only got back to me late at night with suggestions that they come at 2pm the next day which meant 4 people showering in the standing water situation. Also when management did get back to me they said “plunge the shower” and twist the head on shower to make it work. Sent them videos of both situations with shower. Refused to refund any money for nights with non working shower.

The check in process was horrible. The instructions on how to access the building using a key pad were useless. We were instructed to dial a 4 digit number which would supposedly trigger getting buzzed into the building. It doesn’t work without additional steps which were not mentioned in the check in instructions. Extremely frustrating. They could have directed us to a YouTube video in the first place yet the video was only revealed after we had already wasted over an entire hour trying to get in. Had the link to this video been made available prior to arrival it could have saved us unnecessary stress and wasted time

Don't stay here, It's a scam.
I was traveling to Calgary to pick up some tires for my work vehicle and decided to look for a hotel. In my search I found a condo that was only a little more money and decided to treat myself,(bad decision). The room itself was nice, but in the back of my mind, I was a little unnerved, because the security revolved around keys and a key fob that was on the table, had to be left on the table when you leave and there was no way of locking the door once you do so. You can't even ride the elevator back down the 27 floors without the key fob, so I had to flag someone that was staying there to go down the elevator with so I didn't have to walk 27 floors down. If that wasn't bad enough, three days later I get a message back saying that they are going to charge me an extra $82, because they said I defecated the bed. They showed me close up pictures of a couple of stains that they said was from my comforter. I was in shock, because I am not senile and I would have remembered doing such a thing. Honestly, I can't believe someone who has a building key fob would come into the room to crap the bed, but the check out procedure was such that the guest could possibly see something like that happening, just pay the $82 and avoid any further hastle. It is like they designed the procedure to scam the guest. Obviously I denyed the ludicrous claim, but they wouldn't let it go, so neither will I. Don't stay with these people, they can't be trusted; chances are you'll regret it.

Connection to Global Stay did not occur when I phoned at arrival - local concierge assisted me more. When I did get to the room, balcony door was wide open - two issues: it was stupid hot out and bugs entered the condo (moths flying around when I slept). Getting to condo was confusing as well as not inherent - got lost in adjoining building. Finally - left a phone charger there and cleaning staff stole it - it was not turned into a lost & found or made available to me. And that annoys me tremendously.

Is super complicated to check in, need to email them back and forth a few times to arrange check in. They ask for way too much personal information including email them a selfie and ID, which don't think they can really protect my info if they got hack. They said is to make sure it is you that are staying, but since is a self check in at the end, it could be anyone who check in. They could have just simply spend a little of money and hire a staff to meet at check in like other listing I stayed to verify all the information instead of email them all my personal infomation and not knowing what will happen in the future and having a guest taking all the risk for their convenience. The unit is not in high floor facing a busy street, got woke up by the traffic at night. The unit is out dated nothing like the photos in the ads, also find hairs on the sofa and floor.

Ka Lok, please note that all our check-in requirements are stated in the advertisement! As we are not a hotel and we need to register our guests stay in the system and in the condo management. All guests' information is automatically erased after the check-out. Also we did not receive any complaints regarding the unit being unclean or not matching the unit in the advertisement. Perfect location and a comfortable apartment, the only negative issue was there was only one key, one evening we were out with customers and I headed back early as I was very tired, unfortunately on return I fell asleep and when my business colleague returned he could not get hold of me via the telephone. He asked the guy on the reception desk for help and if he could go and knock on the door or even take him up but he was very unhelpful and declined resulting in my colleague having to book a room in another hotel, maybe another set of keys would be useful if the reception are so unhelpful

Great spacious,clean condo. Great veiw! Good beds. Excellent parking. Close ten min walk to downtown and telus convention center. Rough area, as is all downtown. Would stay again. Only issue was single key and fob for entrance to building,elevators and parking. Hence when I left in morning to go to meeting, while my wife was still asleep, if I left fob for her use during the day. I could not lock the door when leaving. And when I returned re-entry to the building and condo required a phone call or two, to have call center let me back in! A inconvenient pain in the butt! This is my only complaint. Otherwise a very nice property.

Awesome stay at the apartment! Thank you to the global stay team for easing my worries regarding check in. They were great at replying to all my email, and once you complete the requirements, the check in info comes right away! The views from this apartment were out of this world!!!

Location is perfect, less than ten minute walk to stampede grounds, lots of good stores and restaurants close by. Apartment was very clean and nice, very much enjoyed our stay.
