"This was a lovely boutique hotel not far from Bolhao market. The welcome we received was probably the best we've had - with a glass of Port and a Pastel da Nata each! The receptionist and his colleagues couldn't have been more helpful with anything we asked of them. The room was very comfortable & clean, and the breakfasts were fresh, varied and tasty. The only gripe we had was the shower; we were allocated a room for people with restricted mobility as we'd asked for a twin. However, the...

"Terrible apartment. Terrible service. Check-iin was very difficult and the room was mis-described. We left and did not even stay. Several guests were complaining at the same time. There was no reception, it is being decorated. It is all remote from Spain. I am awaiting a refund. Worst experience ever on Hotels.com"

"Comfy and spacious apartment. Within walking distance of most areas of town (keep in mind that Porto is quite hilly). Loads of little eateries nearby, though the kithen facilities are very acceptable should you wish to cook in (there's a supermarket nearby). Especially helpful staff, though they're only physically onsite from about 3-8pm (on-call the rest of the time)."
