"If you are wanting to walk to the Malecon this place is great! We walked every there (except to the Window to the world) just make sure you use high traffic roads and you will be fine. Great, place to stay, great staff, friendly and cool neat places around to visit while staying in a small economical place. Highly recommended. "

"The hotel is nice. The service was good EXCEPT for all the noise in the morning. The first morning I thought it was some noisy hotel guests. The second morning I realized that it was the hotel staff. It seems to be a family run hotel and when they wake up at 6 am it appears that they believe everyone in the hotel is awake. "Accordig to the way I was taken to this property you should only plan coming here if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with off- road tires, dirt motorcycle, horse or donkey. The road in is in terrible condition! It takes about 45 mins. to go about 10 kms. The beach looks to be at the bottom of a small mountain, not sure how you access it. "Ferver at the restaurant is always so helpful and friendly ready to assist with anything you need. The restaurant has excellent pasta and róbalo soup recommendation of Ferver… it was the best I had in town!!!!! The front desk people are also very kind friendly accommodating is a real pleasure to stay at the Hilton Garden anytime I am in Barranquilla!!!!! And I wouldn’t stay anywhere else."
