Overall, it had everything we needed- a bed, shower, good aircon, fridge to keep things cool, and quiet, however the room was a little small.
Unfortunately, we woke up on the first night to the smell of smoke in our room. When mentioning it to the staff, they were not super helpful or efficient in their efforts to sort it. We felt like we had to push for something to be done about it. Unfortunately we felt that they didn’t care about resolving the issue.
After pushing, they found that the issue was the room below (the person had been smoking in their bathroom) and the room was cleaned.
Although they couldn’t have helped the fact that the person below was smoking (despite the fact we were told on checking in to not smoke in the room), the staff member we spoke to didn’t deal with it as efficiently as we would have hoped.
One thing to note, is the area is not the nicest. One of the positives is the shops around are cheaper than the shops more centrally located and it is close to the metro. However, I wouldn’t advise any women- be it in groups or solo to stay in the area, as my girlfriend mentioned to me that she felt unsafe walking through the area at night time.
Overall, you’re getting what you pay for
