Excellent location, short walk to Acropolis, great view, many restaurants around. Breakfast on the roof terrace with a view on Acropolis is a highlight of this hotel.

We had the most amazing stay at AD!! From the icy cold air conditioning in the room to the super hot massage shower in the bathroom this hotel has it all. Rooms were spotless, owners and staff were amazing, and you have to say hi to Fiona, the official dog greeter of the AD! Morning breakfast on the roof with an unobstructed view of the Parthenon as well as some of the best best coffee I’ve had in Greece make this underrated gem a delight. I almost hate recommending it to everybody because I don’t want it to become too famous and we can’t get a room the next time we’re here lol The hotel is one block from the metro, two blocks from Plaka, there’s a grocery store, a pizza place, and an ice cream shop all in the vicinity. No more than a 15 minute walk to anywhere you want to see in Athens. Simply amazing! We visited a couple other hotels in the area and nothing compares. Plus this is not a chain so I’m glad to support the local economy. Book a room now, you’re welcome!

Great quaint place to stay. Super nice owner, with the cutest dog Fiona there to greet you as you enter into this cozy hotel. Very comfortable rooms. I love the complimentary slippers! Great added extra. We missed breakfast time, wentcto the roof to check out the view at 11am, and the gentleman made us the best coffees, and when he found out we missed breakfast, brought us some delicious complimentary pastries. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite its name, this hotel is not a luxury establishment. The rooms are small but clean and modern, though the Internet connection is slow. Room service is limited and the elevator is small. However, the hotel excels in hospitality, service and location. Iphegenia at the front desk is delightful, as is her dog Fiona, and the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant offers a spectacular view of the Acropolis and serves a complimentary breakfast. Situated in the lively Plaka neighborhood, the hotel is surrounded by nice shops and restaurants, and the metro station is just steps away. The many repeat guests we observed testify to the excellent experience this hotel provides.

The location for this hotel is top notch. Easy access to the subway if you want to explore larger Athens. Super brief walk to the acropolis and Plaka. The breakfast was incredible. The rooftop balcony (where breakfast is served) has a gorgeous view and is a great place to unwind with a bottle of wine at the end of the night. They let us leave our bags while we explored the city and waited for our room to be ready. Bed was really comfortable. Loved having bottled water in our mini fridge and nespresso pods in our room. I would highly recommend and return here.

This was the perfect place to stay! Everything is walkable. The staff and the owner are always available. The breakfast on the rooftop was fantastic! If you can get a room here do not hesitate and consider yourself very lucky.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. Amazing owners / staff and the room was sooooo quiet !!! All transportation was arranged for us by the hotel which was so nice! The roof top terrace was the perfect touch! A must stay !

Had the most amazing time! Hotel was very clean and bed was super comfortable! The area is in the perfect spot walking distance to all the must sees! There is also an amazing gyro place across the street that was so good! Would recommend to everyone!

This hotel is steps away from the Acropolis subway so easy to take the metro in from the airport, drop your luggage and climb the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent with a nice view from the table on the roof of the Parthenon. We were greeted by a lovely lady. Only complaint would be the smallish room but that is a trade off for the great location. Lots of nearby tourist restaurants.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right by metro station (Line 2/Red line) as well as walking distance to historic sites. Great hospitality, and literally, each hotel staff is very friendly, kind and smiley. On the other hand, the mattress and the pillow comfort can be improved. I would stay in this hotel again in my next visit

Very Nice Family Owned Hotel
The place is right next to Acropolis and few steps to acropolis metro station. Very convenient to everything. Everyday we always come back to a very clean and nice smelling room. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Breakfast area is located at the top floor with a nice view of the Pantheon. Breakfast is a typical european breakfast and more than enough for me. The staff always remembers the coffee I want. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel reminds you of a high end boutique. You are drawn in cause of the closeness to the city center. You can walk to Acropolis, Olympic Stadium, restaurants and shops. When you check in, the desk clerks are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast on the rooftop was amazing with a view of Acropolis. The hotel may not have that many rooms/ guests but you feel catered to. The entire staff should get a raise, they provided excellent service. Definitely will book again

Amazing hotel. It is owned by a family it seemed like and they were so sweet. Perfect location to the acopolis (2 min walk to the back side) and the metro is right outside the door. Many restaurants are within one minute walk. Breakfast buffet - could be a bit bigger but it was still perfect. You eat on the roof top facing the acropolis. The gentleman (maybe the owner?) remembers your coffee drink each day. Super friendly people. The picture of the hotel was taken at night so when we were looking for it we were looking for a gold building. It’s white and the sign for the hotel is small so you have to look harder for it or gps it. But that is a very small thing, in our eyes it’s a 10 out of 10

We loved staying here. The location can’t be beat. Very close to a number of great restaurants and was close enough to be able to walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. The people at this property are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and very clean.

Wonderful little place. I'm an American traveler who was traveling with my 13 year-old to see all things Athens. This is super close to the subway, so you can take the train in from the airport or out to the beach cheaply and easily. It's walkable to many attractions, safe at all hours and the staff are super friendly. The 6th floor has a rooftop terrace with a direct view of the Parthenon that is amazing at Sunset. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I loved our stay at AD Luxury. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The property and our room was very clean. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. The view of the Acropolis from the roof top terrace was amazing, especially when it was all lit up at night! The surrounding area was very safe and we were able to walk to everything. We would definitely return!!

Hotel was small, clean and quaint, in a fabulous location. The roof top area has a amazing view of the Acropolis day or night. And the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. A fabulous stay!
