“Great value for your money.”

My wife and I were in Winnipeg for a 25th wedding anniversary and needed a place to stay. The Holiday Inn Winnipeg South was in a great location. We were both close to the reception hall and also only minutes to downtown for sightseeing. The rooms were a good size and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

We found everybody very friendly, rooms were clean, it was quiet when we were there. Big lobby, good parking.

I would highly recommend this hotel. My family and I stayed for a week. Hotel was clean, facilities were awesome, food was great and there is a Safeway across the street. The staff was very helpful as well. Also, very quiet. We were very impressed with this hotel. If I were ever to return to Winnipeg, I would certainly stay there again..I give this hotel a 10 out of 10..

“Very Nice”

The only thing I didn't care for at this hotel was the access to the parking lot. If you are traveling southbound on Pembina Highway, it is tricky to enter parking lot during certain hours{especially rush hour}.

Great hotel for the package price with restaurants, shopping, etc. all within a few minutes of driving time. Hotel also has a decent restaurant for breakfast, lunch, etc. and nice amenities (swimming pool, hot tub, etc.)

Everything was good. This hotel has everything you need. Kids enjoyed the pool & play area.

we are seniors so comfort is important to us. although this hotel is a bit older, it is still in good shape. the rooms are spacious and the pool and restaurant amenities make it convenient.

The staff & lodging were great. The buffet was underwhelming but the staff were friendly & efficient.

“Great for a night or two”

The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff are friendly. The location would be terrible if one wanted to walk or see nice sights: it is located off of a highway that is quite ugly. It was innexpensive because I booked through expedia's 'unpublished rates' option. When I booked a second unplanned night, the price price was expectedly higher when I asked in the evening. The staff said that he could not re-reserve a room for me and when I booked the next morning, the price was even higher. I asked about lowering the price to the quote from the night previously and they did not lower it. Overall, a great place to stay for cheap through online sources but I would not expect great service.

“Needs updating”

The hotel itself was great. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the beds and pillows in the room. Very outdated, not comfortable at all. Bed even squeaked when I turned over. Not great for a restful night.
