Serenity
House and property were ideal. The quiet allowed us to relax and take evening walks. Wonderful place for two couples to stay with complete privacy. The kitchen was very well appointed. Very much appreciated the quick response by the owner to a question we had. We would definitely return ti this special property.

Fantastic Getaway in Wine Country
We had a fantastic stay here with our two daughters and grandparents. It’s a very comfortable spot in a beautiful setting close to the sweet city of Healdsburg. Highly recommend for families. Thank you!

Such a beautiful part of the world
My daughter, son, and his wife and I stayed for 8 days and we had the most amazing stay. Waking up each morning to the views out the window was delightful. The sunsets were spectacular. I didn't know it would be so beautiful everywhere I looked. From the meals we cooked in the beautiful kitchen, to the adventures to the coast, the redwoods, and local hikes, to the hot tub, to walks in the neighborhood, we had the most wonderful time. Andrew was super responsive and concerned when we had a glitch. He and Bonnie recommended the most delicious restaurants. If you are looking for a beautiful adventure and comfortable time with friends and family, this is the place.

The kitchen had everything we needed the house was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The wrap around patio and views from the kitchen and living room are lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. Check in was easy and my few questions were answered promptly. We would definitely stay again. We did wish there had been a TV downstairs.

Home away from home
This property was excellent for us. As a party of 6, we wanted a comfortable gathering place for all of us, enough space to spread out, and a kitchen designed for people who enjoy cooking. It is well located just outside of Windsor, and we were delighted to find such a well provisioned home that exceeded our expectations. Thank you for sharing your home.

A beautiful stay in a world-class destination
We LOVED this stay. It immersed us in the Sonoma County countryside, surrounded with vineyards and live oak trees. The huge, well-laid out home had everything we might need for a stay. And then, magically, we could drive 4 minutes and be in the village of Windsor to shop at an outstanding grocery store (Oliver's), or eat at dozens of restaurants. Five minutes further away was Healdsburg, the cosmic center of Sonoma County wine life. The owners, Andrew and Bonnie, are gems. Everything was totally terrific, delightfully beyond expectations. Highly recommended!!! We'll be back.

A Perfect Home in a Perfect Location
Andrew's VRBO was a very pleasant stay! Absolutely gorgeous house located in the heart of Sonoma County wine country! The space was easy to access, comfortable, clean, perfect for families, the view of the vineyard was beautiful. We spent each morning enjoying breakfast outside and a sunset dinner! The area was peaceful and private. Much appreciation for the large kitchen! Will definitely come back for our wine getaways! Thank you for accommodating us.

Wonderful girls weekend in Windsor
The location in Windsor is top notch with vineyards all around, a wonderful pergola, and lots of quiet time to reflect. We loved being so close to Healdsburg too!! A couple of suggestions would be to change the carpeting to wood flooring and get a new bed in the master, but overall I’d give this property 5 stars. Andrew was great and very responsive.

Perfect family reunion spot
The best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. Every bedroom has a bathroom and a wonderfully calming and magical view. The acoustics of the house are such that you can’t hear anything between floors so the youngsters can be as noisy as they want while othered sleep soundly. The wrap around porch, barbecue, hot tub, and starry nights top this off as the perfect getaway.

Windsor Home
This Windsor home is spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with most everything a family requires. We had 7 adults and 1 toddler. There is plenty of room to enjoy being together as well as room for separate activities. The large lawn is a great play area. We enjoyed the location on the outskirts of Windsor as it was more rural and lovely - yet close to town and wineries. The owner, Andrew, was very responsive to my questions before and during the stay. In fairness, there was 1 or 2 things that needed attention but nothing we could not work around. We would definitely stay here again.

Wine Country Weekend
We had a nice time staying at Oak Leaf Retreat. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are spacious. We stayed here for a ladies trip and it was a great base for wine tasting as well as going to Healdsburg for dinner. The backyard was very peaceful to just sit outside and drink wine. There was a family of quails that would spend time in the yard in the morning that was fun to watch. We would definitely stay here again.

Piece of Paradise
Look no further for an immersive wine country stay. Saunter across the lawn, open the gate, and walk amongst the vines. Stock up on the delicious offerings at Oliver's grocery store in Windsor. Short drive into Healdsburg for fabulous food and shopping. So many wineries close by you can taste to your heart's content. But the best part of your stay could be hanging at the house and enjoying its many spaces in which to gather. Fantastic all around. I'll be back! Thank you Andrew and Bonnie for sharing your special place.

Peaceful & perfect
This was exactly what our family needed for our visit to Wine Country. Kitchen was well equipped, the bedding was like sleeping in a cloud. The outdoor space was stunning, bring your suits and enjoy the hot tub while star gazing. The hosts were always communicating with us and made sure we were comfortable in their home. So many memories were made during our short visit and we already want to stay there next time we come to Sonoma.

It was great staying here. It was very quiet and nice. A little concerned that we were going to be too loud since the property manager lives very close to the house and gave me a feeling that we were being watch. Other than that it was good. Nice place.

Wonderful weekend
We were four couples in the area for a wedding, and had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The setting is lovely, with a huge lawn surrounded by vineyards. The house was comfortable and clean, and had everything we could ask for. Perfect for a family and/or friends weekend in the wine country. Andrew was very accommodating, letting us check in early so we could make the most of our time there. We would love to return to this house!

Quiet, spacious and convenient location!
We really recently stayed in this spacious home just south of Healdsburg and north of Santa Rosa. We were three couples and one of the husbands competed in the Iron Man triathlon in the area. The location was perfect for us and there was more than enough room. The house next-door had the cutest goats and another nearby house we looked upon had horses and rolling hills. We cooked in the wonderful kitchen several times and it was well stocked with everything we needed.

Great location!
There are so many wonderful places in Sonoma and Napa that are about an hour's drive from this house. It also turned out to be a great location for our bicycling group. Great wines, cheese, restaurants, beer, scenery, - it's all here. And Andrew McGuire is a wonderful host.

The house had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Its 10 mins from town, the setting is beautiful, and the house is spacious. Loved the large kitchen table to play games on. We cooked dinner both nights. Everything worked and the kitchen is fully stocked. The hot tub was great but the deck was slippery (it was raining all weekend but it needs an outdoor no slip rug or something). Also, the carpet downstairs is a little worn but we didn't care. Andrew is a very accommodating host. We had a great weekend.

Perfect Family & Friends Getaway
Very comfortable and lovely home. Kitchen was well stocked. We made bfast and dinner every night and everything we needed was there. Rooms were large and comfortable. Best part was the serene surroundings that just made you want to get up early and go for a walk or run which we did every day. The highlight one morning was seeing the hot air balloons in the sky near the house. The location is ideal for a relaxing getaway and a perfect home to hang out with a large family or group of friends playing games, eating, talking, enjoying the delicious wines in the region and creating lasting memories.

Amazing, spacious home!
