Perfect Stay!
Convenient, comfortable - exactly as advertised. Very walkable to area restaurants & grocery store. Checkout BONUS - got to see a baby black bear enjoying the fruit off some trees right in front of our unit! Perfect send off to an amazing stay!

Great stay in a lovely apartment. Plenty of space for everyone and very comfortable beds. The parking garage provided plenty of space and good security for our rental car too.

Prices listed in USD which wasn’t made clear on the website. I thought I was getting a nice place for an affordable price, until I checked the credit card bill and it was $100 more than I anticipated due to the exchange rate. I can’t believe I company would do this, especially when renting a property in CANADA.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a better experience. The Hot tub and BBQ area were newly renovated last year. We expect to see more renovations by the strata to the property soon. We have been updating our rooms this season with new counters, flooring and paint.

The hotel was clean and well taken care of. Our biggest concern was the fire bell going of in the early morning. There was no one to tell us where to go or to check that all people were safe. Some people didn't hear the alarm. The pool area was good . People partied late at night made it harder to sleep.

Close to slopes and roomy
An easy walk to slopes. New pots and pans and oven mits made cooking easier. Cant say this was the most comfortable place. You can tell it is 100% rental with no owners touch. I wish the rental company didnt hide behind a fake name. I thought whiskey jack did an ok job. It was impossible to contact the "owner" when i tried to reconfirm prior to arrival-nice panic attack, due to lousy communications.

This is the first VRBO property that I have stayed that was not as listed.  The unit is listed as 2 baths, and the pictures show a recently remodeled kitchen and baths. However, the unit was only 1 1/2 baths, not 2 full baths, and the unit was not as shown in the VBRO pictures as they show a much nicer unit.  The kitchen is much smaller and not as well finished.  The bathrooms are far more basic.  Although I may have rented this unit anyway, I do not like being misled on the write up and the pictures and feel as if I paid more than it was worth. If you look past this deception, the unit is acceptable. The kitchen is workable with a good selection of pots and utensils.   Lighting is poor in the master bedroom, but the beds in the two bedrooms are new and fine. Parking underground was available for one car.  Stalls were tight, but there is a small area outside for oversized vehicles. The Creekside area is much quieter than the village.  There is a nice grocery store, Starbucks, and a handful of restaurants.  We loved Rolands!

Failed to provide information about confirmation, access and location of check in We had to repeatedly ask Pictures on booking site don’t represent the actual rooms Room itself smells like cigarettes due to construction going on Booking sight has check out at 11. Papers they give you tell you it is 10am You have to move your car at on day of check out into public parking. Room itself was fine. Whisky Jack coordination stinks.

Hot tub and pool not working - not ok!
It's a decent place for the rate. It is starting to look a little run down and could use an update. The hot tub and pool were out of commission while we were there. That information should ALWAYS be provided prior to booking, especially when we were there to ski and we had children with us who were relying on the pool & hot tub. We were looking forward to the hot tub afterward a good ski day, but didn't know until we checked in.

It has been noted on Hotels.com that the pool would be out of order until January 1st, 2018 (although we are told it should be ready for Christmas). I'm very sorry this information was not clearly noted. I do agree that it was a bit tricky to find. I'm glad that you enjoyed yourselves otherwise. Nice Condo.
This was not a hotel but a condo. and therefore no hotel staff on premises, I feel we should have been notified of this . The condo. was great, clean and close to all facilities though the pool was out of commission .

I liked it and will stay here again
My friend and I stayed here and really liked it. The other rooms may be different than what we had, but the accommodations we had were excellent (Lofted room w/ king bed, two twin beds, and a sofa bed. I was worried before I got here because there were a lot of negative comments on other reviews, but I had no complaints. There was plenty of room, everything was comfortable, there were lots of kitchen utensils (even more than I expected, pots, pans, can openers, wine opener, blender, silverware, plates, etc... It has everything you need). It is on the Creekside and I like the village atmosphere, but this hotel is extremely close to the Creekside lift. I liked the hot tub, pool, sauna, etc... but I wish it was available prior to 1pm because I like to take a quick soak to loosen up my legs before skiing in the morning. Make sure you get the address to the main office prior to arriving because the main office is about half a block up the street. I will stay here again when I return for my next ski trip.

Comfortable condo at Creekside
Whiski Jack condos at Lake Placid Lodge are comfortable and well-equipped. They're not luxurious by any means, but they're fine for a getaway in one of the most beautiful places imaginable. Our unit was clean, and had everything a vacation condominium needs. (I've stayed in Lake Placid Lodge many times, and this description would have been accurate for every stay.) Our unit had two bedrooms and a good-sized kitchen. We had called ahead to announce that we'd arrive late at night, so the check-in center had the stuff we needed in a lock box outside the office -- key to the garage, combination for the unit lock, wi-fi info, etc., and in fact the office had called me in advance to tell me they'd be closing early, in case I needed the lock box. I appreciated their call.

When we arrived at lodge we looking for office to checkin we could find it so I called to locate the near by office then we checked in went in lodge the fridge stops working electric plugs weren't working also no parking more one car we had more than one car because of worked until late so they parked outside car got towed we didn't mind paying for parking as long as secure zone anyways more service and maintenance needs for the lodge

all furnitures & appliances had a film of dust which you could clearly write your name on,the ktchen floor was sticky,the carpet had lumps of dust a size of a quarter,some light switches was broken. Kitchen was well supplied & the kingbed was nice & big & comfortable.Good thing we only stayed to sleep.

In need of updating
I was disappointed by the fixtures in the bath rooms. Sink was badly pitted and the original toilet and faucets are in need of replacement. The hallway smoke detectors are hanging by their wires. It does not look like anything has been replaced since the hotel was opened. At $200.00/nite I was disappointed in the condition it was in. It was also very hard to find out where to check in.

Not Worth the $260.00 dollars a night!!!!!
I was in room #117 last room in the hall way facing no views but private. We were staying here with our family after I completed the tough mudder challenge. The room above us was so loud we could hear them walking around all night till 4 am in the morning. The walls are so paper thin. You would think at $260 a night u would have sound proof walls and u don't need to take out your own garbage either. I liked that we have laundry but we never used and 2 bathrooms was great. The hedges could have been trimmed to allow more light into the front by kitchen. The room is out dated and needs more modern look. No more cowboy pictures on the wall either, pictures must been from expo 88. But I guess with the noise we had that's whistler for u. Next time I come I'd rather stay and book 8 months in advance on a yurt at the riverside campground where other team mates were or at the fair mount hotel.

Enjoyed Stay.
This was a great stay for my husband and two adult children. There was confusion at the start as there is no receptionist and we didn't know how to access the condo. Hotels.com figured out where we had to go for keys and access. It is as close as any accommodations to the Creekside gondola at Whistler and easy walking to get to the ski hill with equipment on.

Although listed as a hotel, it was actually a one bedroom condo with loft. The unit had a full kitchen, one bedroom with two single beds and a loft with a queen bed. The unit had two baths. The unit was clean. There was a parking garage which was nice. The pool and hot tube was clean and well maintained. The lodge was close to the Creekside lift. Creekside is quieter then the Whistler base area. The staff at Whiski Jack were very helpful. Would stay there again if in area.

Good place to stay for the price
It had lots of room for a good price. Hot tub and pool were relaxing. Easy to get to whistler by gondola during the day. Cheap cab ride (around $13) if you want to get to whistler at night

Valentine's Weekend
I decided to surprise my daughter with a last minute visit to Whistler. She is working there for the winter. I booked my ticket and car rental. Then came trying to find a place to stay. Very difficult on one of the busiest weekends of the season. The staff was very professional and offered me lots of suggestions and even helped me try to find other accommodations for earlier in my visit. The condo was immaculate and very well located in Creekside. Walking distance to most restaurants / grocery store. My unit overlooked the pool and hot tub which was constantly maintained. I was checked in by Drew who was very professional and informative. I certainly would recommend this location and would stay there again on my next visit Cheers !
