"The property was nestled in the lovely mountains of the Highlands. It was gorgeous. It was also a nice drive to and from the Isle of Skye area. The staff, in particular, were very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They were hardworking and kept the place clean and tidy. Would highly recommend."

"Altguish inn was an unexpectedly nice stay that we experienced on out nc500 trip. The hotel is out of nowhere in the middle of the road with no attractions nearby. An old cute hotel. They have ample parking, and 1 slow electric charger in the carpark. The restaurant served good english breakfast. The sausages were amazing. The bar was good. The service was excellent. "Had a lovely stay for four nights. Property is in a great location to explore, ferry from Glenelg to Skye £20 return. Very secluded, property had everything supplied, bedding, toilet roll, towels, utilities, washing up liquid, tea towels, salt & pepper etc. Glenelg is a ten minute walk. Great place to explore. Managed to see the otters opposite the Glenelg ferry, the sea eagles and a golden eagle near Sandaig. Had no phone signal but WiFi is spot on along with tv. Came back very relaxed, plan on...

"Parking was cash only but luckily had that on us but finding the parking was difficult due to construction. Then the small hike to the hostel from the temporary parking was a bit much with bags and over a fence. Service was nice, beds were not very comfortable "
