Verbally abusive manager
Booked a non-smoking room 2 weeks in advance, turned up at to a smoking room that still had ash in the ash tray. The room was filthy, there was a cigarette in the shower. Called the front desk and sat in my car while they cleaned it, because they had no other rooms available. This was a busy festival weekend and there were no other hotels available for a 20 mile radius, and this was at 11.30pm. When I called the manager he was verbally abusive and told me 'This is a you problem and if you didn't like the room you could have left' and hung up on me. Called the umbrella company to arrange a refund, when they contacted the hotel he lied to them and told them it was a non smoking room that had been cleaned (see attached photos of ash tray and cigarette - the entire room stank of smoke).

I was assigned two rooms. The first room was okay. Adequate enough for an overnight stay. The second room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. There were burn holes in the covers and some black stains on the sheets. There were no towels in the second room. The facility was understaffed during check in so there was a 10 minute waiting to be checked in and another 10 minute wait in the lobby to get towels.

I was displaced with my dog. We stayed for 4 nights and while there she had to be put down. They were very welcoming with her and then so kind when she passed away. The room was clean and safe and the staff was very attentive. The only issues were the wi-fi was very slow and hard to log on and the pool is closed.

When driving onto property immediately notice that outside pool was under some type of construction - looked like it wasn't maintained for years. All access was shutdown to the pool. After checking in and going to room, found room very unclean. Bed sheets had burn marks, and bathroom looked like it belongs in an outhouse. This was false advertising as I had booked a non-smoking room, and obviously was assigned a smoking room. I went back to front office, and wanted to cancel my check-in as we could not stay in this dirty place. The clerk stated that Expedia would not let me cancel. Even so, my family would not stay here, and so we left the property. I left am filing a grievance on this and since I had travel protection on this I am putting in a filing to get my money back.

It was a huge disappointment. The property is definitely not being managed. The room was dirty, literally on the floor. Its about as getto as it gets. Dont be fooled by the pool, it's so poorly kept, the fence is falling in.

At peak check in time (3:00pm) no one was at the front desk, called a cell phone and after 25 minutes a manager arrived to check in. When I rejected the 1st room I was shown, I again had to call and wait 25 minutes for a manager. Rooms literally looked like detention cells or military barracks. Army green blanket with hole in it, tucked in around mattress with Box springs showing. Smelled like smoke. My "king bed" was a queen room with one of the beds taken out and a queen left in the furthest spot from door "white" wall cracked and dirty where other bed had been. Cigarette burns on floor. No built in for clothes. Its possible that room was in process of renovation but the manager did not mention this. When I rejected the 2nd room he offered me a deluxe handicapped room that looked essentially the same but did have a night stand on either side of the bed. Sign posted at front desk greets you with "No refunds once checked in", and "address any issues with the room condition with in 15 minutes of check in" . I did not feel safe enough to stay in room, but rather than wait another 30 minutes for the manager I left my key in my room and went to another hotel. The pictures on the website look nothing like the office or the rooms and should be changed. The only thing that looked like the website was the outdoor pool area which did look nice. Otherwise it looked as if the rooms would be rented by the hour.

To start off the door look like somebody had kicked it in and the lock was tampered with. The smell of the room smelled like cigarettes had been burning for days. The floor was visibly dirty. There was stains in the tub. The remote to the TV had dirt all around it and crumbs to the point the buttons were extremely stiff. There were flies and nets flying around. This property need to be inspected by the state department of health. Also, the safety of the property were a concern there were 2 men walking around the property constantly looking like they were preying on some one . You can see junkies walking from the back of the property being the my room was in the front closer to the welcome desk.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The rooms were dirty. I had to wipe down one wall because their was dead bugs and other things on the wall. The floors were filthy couldn't let my grandbabies on the floor at all or their knees and feet were black. The shower barely worked in the one room and in the sink in the morning there was little worm thing and gnats everywhere

The hotel was not the hotel pictured on expedia. The dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. No refund once checked in. Lights didn't work, one of the door knobs fell off, room key kept deactivating. Smelled like smoke, a lot of non desirables staying there. Just a crackhead motel.
