“Felt like home, but cleaner!”

We had not just a room, a partial harbourview suite. It was beautifully appointed, clean, lots of space, quiet and felt like home. We don't usually partake of continental-style breakfasts, which are often underwhelming, but this was a notable exception. First of all, the cafe had a lovely view of the harbour, and the staff, while minimal, were friendly. The baked goods were fresh and delicious, with lots of choice, and the other options appealing, although they didn't change much from day to day.

“Did not want to leave!”

This place is charming and gracious. The one bedroom suite was huge. Exemplary staff. Not many TV channels but, everything else was perfect.

“Great for family traveling with infants”

We took our 11-month old daughter to Victoria for four days. We were very satisfied with the location and the convenience of the suite. Having a full kitchen in the suite makes the every day preparation of baby food so much easier. I was very happy with the price we paid and the service we received.

We had a wonderful room with a beautiful view of the harbor. The housekeeping staff was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was very much appreciated.

“Best kept secret in Victoria”

I have stayed at the Regent five to six times over the past three years. Firstly, there is the great view of the harbor, no matter what time of year. It is centrally located in downtown Victoria, so walking to great restaurants and shopping is a snap. In addition, they provide underground parking for FREE, so golfing excursions or trips to Oak Bay are effortless. This is luxury apartment living, not hotel living. On most occassions we travel with another couple and it makes for a wonderful visit with having a living room to lounge in at the end of our day, drinking wine and gazing at the water and chatting with friends/relatives. Great views from both bedrooms and living room. On last visit we were tired from our trip and ordered chinese food delivery from a local restaurant (suggested by the concierge with menu) and ate in the dining room. We enjoyed toasted bagels and cream cheese from the breakfast bar in the morning on our deck. On another visit at New Years I had a local caterer deliver hor dourves for a predinner party. A great idea and very inexpensive, we had tons left over for a snack on New Years Day. I could not have done it without having all the space (and kitchen) of an apartment. The hotel staff allowed me to peek in at the penthouse apartment during one visit and I hope to book it sometime when we plan on three couples going to Victoria: Two stories tall - huge deck - great for a BBQ, and again - what a VIEW!!

“Great to be back”

This is our second time staying in this Hotel, although the first in a room(other time was a 1bdrm suite) The room is a very nice size and we also had a balcony. The bathroom is the biggest I've seen in a room before. It is also great that it has it's own parking garage underneath. The thing that is most remarkable is the service by the front desk and other employees. If you have any sort of complaint, it is dealt with instantly. They are so helpful and cheery all the time. The location is great, you can walk throughout the downtown and harbour area. We will stay in this hotel next time we go down to Victoria.

“A good choice in Victoria”

The hotel was very good. It was clean & comfortable. The breakfast was very good compared to other continental breakfasts (included) I have experienced. I was glad we choice a city view room rather than the view of the harbour. The harbour is beautiful, however the noise from the seaplanes starting at around 6:00 am would of been a problem.

“Best Value”

The bed was awesome! The location was perfect and the room had just the things we needed. There is a great little balcony to sit out on and in general the room was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and in general all of the staff were very helpful. I work at a hotel so I know that they are all doing a great job.
