Shared bathroom and shower, you hear all other guests entering/exiting their rooms and going to the bathroom. Not really AC in the room, was very hot in the evening. At some point it was turned on.

PROPERTY WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. IN A GREAT POSITION FOR THE TOWN. UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS WORK BEING DONE ON THE BUILDING ON A DIFFERENT FLOOR WHICH STARTED AT 8AM WITH LOUD DRILLING - NOT GOOD IF YOU WERE WANTING A LIE IN AND A RELAXING STAY. DIDNT AFFECT OUR STAY AS WE WERE LEAVING AFTER ONE NIGHT.

Well sized room, literally 2 minutes walk to the Arena, very freindly staff, clean, nice big bed, coffee machine and small but very usable kitchen for all guests, fridge in room. Would happily stay again 👍

What a fantastic little B&B! Excellent location, 15 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes to Piazza Bra for the Arena. Fabio was a great host! Contact him the day before arrival to arrange for him to meet you at the B&B, a very seamless process. He provided excellent tips during check in on restaurants etc. Try Bella Napoli a 10 minute walk from the hotel for great Napoli pizza. All in all I will definitely use this, and recommend to friends and family they do, on future visits to Verona! Thanks again Fabio

Well priced and good location.
we booked this b&b for one night due to its reasonable price. We easily walked there from the bus station and we arrived 2 hours before check in. The owner was more than happy to look after our bags while we went out to see the sights. It is only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Verona so location is excellent. Rooms are extremely clean and you can help yourselves to hot drinks from the kitchen anytime. We ate breakfast at the table and chairs in our room. Although the bathrooms were shared there are two between only a few rooms so one was always free. Only negative was the noise as we returned Sunday evening a bar downstairs had come to life!!!! We were still awake so it wasn't really a problem and ended at 11. May not be good if you have young children though. Overall a welcoming clean b & b at bargain price. A perfect base for visiting Verona On a budget.

Greatest little gem to stay at in Verona
This little gem was way above our expectations. There are 2 bathrooms to share among 4-5 rooms so the shared bathroom does not really feel like a shared one but more like a private one across the hall. The whole place has a very cosy feeling, it is clean and the host who met us was very kind and helpful. The best thing is the breakfast - there are even some little snacks in the room for you to have whenever you want and for breakfast there is a great variety of food and drink that you can take from at leisure and enjoy in your room. The quality of cleanness and breakfast can be measured against big hotels. Definitely strongly recommended!

The Alternative venue at Cittadella
The alternative venue, that was being used where the lift was under repair, is a 10 minute walk from the main B&B and is part of an apartment block. Good size room albeit a tad gloomy and good size bathroom. Galley style kitchen is small and breakfast eaten in room - concern over open meats and freshness/hygiene. Noise is a problem from other residents/apartments and may be from air conditioning ductwork. The bed though was large and comfortable and the siting is good for the city itself.

Absolulely fabulous place to stay
B&B Cittadella was one of our most favourite places due to the location right in the heart of the city of Verona. To have the freedom to make a cuppa at any time was great. There are 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms to share, and are very clean. A very helpful and very informative lady on the reception. We took a taxi from the railway station to find the hotel(10 euro) but were able to easily walk with our luggage after checkout

This B&B is in the heart of Verona, within walking distance to every major attraction in the city. The room is fairly comfortable and the lady who welcomed us was very nice and helpeful. Kanada was her name.

An amazing B&B!
This B&B took me by surprise, it is extremely amazing and enjoyed every minute of my stay, the staff are very welcoming and helpful with all questions and go out of their way to assist in any possible way, amazing rooms - really up in the 5 star ranking with private bathrooms and location is very central within walking distance of all sites. I would defiantly stay here again without question on my mind. keep up the good work!

On arrival we were told our room was in a different location but quite near. As it turned out the other room was also only 200 metres from 'The Arena' in a quieter area. Room and bathroom were spacious and really clean. We had the use of a little kitchenette with the requirements for breakfast being supplied. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. The host was most helpful with information and directions.

Beautiful little B&B with spacious room. Warmly decorated, clean and very comfortable. A friendly welcome. Got a lot of information on arrival about the city and our stay. Little coffee corner which you can use all day long. Sweets and cookies in the room and a lovely breakfast buffet. Breakfast can be used in the room. And delightful smelling shampoo, showergel, bodylotion and soap provided. The place is only 5 minute walk from city centre, but is located in a quiet street. Of our ten day trip in Italy, this place was the best. Highly recommended! Thanks a lot.

The location is really great- so close to the main sights in Verona. On check-in the owner and staff were incredibly helpful getting usoriented to the town, sights and recommending restaurants (there is an awesome one right downstairs that we LOVED). Sharing bathrooms isn't our favorite thing but that's no fault of the hotel, we are the ones who booked it. The breakfast was just ok, but the coffee machine was very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about the place- we slept ok for two nights so if you are just looking for a spot to sleep with a good location this could be a good place for you.

OK...I'm not sure how to rate this B & B. Originally we were supposed to stay at one location only to be walked to another. We wondered what the heck we were getting into. The entrance to the room was odd. Like an old garage and then up steps to an apt door. However, upon entering our room all our misgivings disappeared. Our room was large, comfortable and modern as was the bathroom. The breakfast was self serve and adequate. There is a great pizza place across the street -- Napoli. We were within easy walking distance of Verona's sites. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.

Excellent choice. I was hesitant to take a room with Share bathroom, It actually only has 3 hotel rooms, it's the entire floor of a nice building. So the share of the 2 full bathrooms was not any issue and was very clean!! As 1 person my room was even nicer than the photos with a large bed and side couch. Could've accommodated 3 guests. Mini fridge, and cute Table with lots of snacks. Great little touches other hotels usually don't have. The self-serve breakfast was basic, but sufficient. The girl in charge in the evenings was very nice. Allow for a few welcoming minutes as you check in, she does explain the hotel, bathrooms, and offers maps and restaurant suggestions. They do not have a locked baggage room, but you are welcome to leave bags behind the lobby chairs. There is always someone working on the floor. I was hesitant again, but being only 3 rooms in the hotel, I felt my belongs were still secure and left them from 11am-till I got back from touring the city at 6pm. I would stay here again. An easy 15min walk from the train and my evenings were always near the Piazza Erbe, so it was better to be in this location for walking back at night easily. (Instead of staying next to the train station). When you arrive the entrance has maybe 6 steps then you see on the left is a Lift you can use to the hotel on the 3rd floor. Was a great stay. Thanks!

Nice B&B good location between the train station and the historical sights of Verona. The B&B is spotless they do an excellent job keeping it clean and the breakfast is more than adequate. We did find the double room shared bathroom is a little noisy and lacks privacy you are tight opposite the main bathroom so can hear people coming and going also reception is right outside your door and we found two of them would have a 3 hour conversation outside our room every evening from 5-8pm which was a a little irritating. Room would be fine of you will be out most of the time otherwise I think the other 2 rooms in the B&B would be quieter.

Cittadella in Verona
Cittadella is the best B&B I lived in Italy. Although it takes around 15mins walking from the train station, the flat and the room is amazing. There is elavator for the building, the bathroom is clean and big enough. The room is cosy. Breakfast is self-service, variety of choice is provide. The staff is helpful. It is close to the tourist spot, around 10 mins walk. I am very recommend you to stay in Cittadella.

Good value and well located
Great location between the train station and the historical center- everything very easily walkable. Given the prices of other hotels in Verona, a good value. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good self-serve breakfast, and reliable wi-fi. The only downsides are having to share a bathroom (not too bad as they are usually free, but it does entail leaving your room), lack of air conditioning (a sign said there was air conditioning, but if so, it wasn't on), and thin walls (can hear others moving around very easily).

Easy access for check in . Hotel about 20 minute walk from train station. Very close to all sites in Verona especially the coliseum . Stayed one night to see verona and attend the opera..excellent hotel location 10 minute walk to opera..if you do not mind walking, shared bathroom, I highly recommend this hotel. Had no problems sharing access to bathroom and kitchen with other guests.

Hope to stay here again!
I stayed at Cittadella for a week, and it exceeded all my expectations, especially considering that I was paying a very low rate. It's obvious that the folks who run this B&B really care about what they do. It's clear they've thought about the little things, and everything WORKS! There are little touches like the light that automatically comes on in the hallway when you go to the bathroom, and the little table on wheels to put your breakfast on. And the place is spotless! The breakfast is lovely and generous. The neighbourhood is quiet but seems entirely safe. It's outside the walls of the old city, which means it's slightly away from the tourist areas, but it's only a five-minute walk to Piazza Bra, the centre of Verona. So as far as I'm concerned, the location couldn't be better. I was there during a heat wave (highs of 35 during the day, down to 25 at night), and the air conditioning couldn't quite keep up--that's my only slight criticism. But I'd love to stay here again.

War alles soweit gut und sauber. Ankunft verlief abends durch einen vorab mir per WhatsApp übermittelten Tür-Zugangscode tadellos. Bett war weich und es gab zu meiner Freude auch eine Jalousie, um nachts das Zimmer gut zu verdunkeln. Zentrale wie auch ruhige Wohnlage. Es gab eine kleine Küche zur Gemeinschaftsnutzung, im Zimmer selber stand ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Am Nachttisch befanden sich nebst normaler Steckdose auch USB-Steckdosen zum Aufladen des Telefons. Nur beim Duschen war es so, dass man das Wasser ein, zwei Minuten laufen lassen musste, bis es richtig warm wurde, aber gewöhnt man sich schnell daran. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.
