"This is a new rental--the tags are still on the furniture--so I'm hoping with this feedback, the owner will address the issues we had, which they may not have even been aware of. However, I wouldn't book without receiving confirmation that the necessary repairs have been made. The heaters made a horrible racket, a banging and a high pitched squeal, that made it impossible to sleep. The property management folks dropped off a space heater to get us through, but a plumber will need to fix both this and the water pressure, which was very low, especially in the kitchen sink. This made dishwashing challenging, along with the sink hardware having been installed incorrectly so you can't turn the hot water all the way on.) The refrigerator also stopped working during our stay, which resulted in some lost food that needed to stay frozen. It turned out that the breaker had flipped, but we didn't have access to that in the unit. I was very happy to have such responsive property management people--we needed them a lot. The furnishings were lovely and quite comfortable and the layout was convenient. We appreciated being able to bring the dog, and there are terrific places for dog walking -Pine hill park has miles of trails. However, for the price we paid, I would expect the place to be closer to restaurants, etc, and for appliances to work."

"Our corporate group had an incredibly fun stay at Red Clover for a recent ski retreat. The property is impeccably maintained, staff are all very friendly and hospitable, and were communicative before and during our stay. The Red Clover team welcomed our group with open arms (and fresh baked cookies to boot!). It was the perfect setup for our group of ~25, and we appreciated the variety of sleeping rooms, and the number of rooms available. We also loved the dining area and the fact that it could host a “family style” dinner for our team. The property is a quick drive to major attractions (skiing at Pico or Killington / great restaurants), although you could easily spend all your time on-site with the amenities available. Thanks again to owners Mark and Venetia for hosting our group, we can’t wait to return next year!"

"This property is listed as a smoke free. "No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises", are the exact words listed on the property description. Upon walking into the apartment, you are immediately faced with a pungent smell of cigarettes and what can only be described as body odor mixed with tacos. It was a horrible smell. We went and bought air fresheners that made no difference in the smell; didn’t even touch it. All of our clothes smelled of cigarettes and body odor and we could smell it on ourselves when we were out of the house, which was unsettling. Every single morning we woke up stuffy and actually left the property feeling a bit ill. A guest staying at the property had asthma and has to use her rescue inhaler multiple times throughout the night while we were sleeping in there. It was not an enjoyable experience at all and I would not recommended this property to anyone unless they like the smell of old cigarettes and taco BO. It was a horrible experience and I reached out this Vacasa company via their customer service SMS system and via customer service phone call. Vacasa is extremely unhelpful as you are not able to speak to a manager of any sort for any issues like this. They have “local managers” but customer service “cannot give out their information”… it makes no sense. So there is absolutely no one I can speak to regarding this issue on the phone in a manager position. 0/10 would not recommend!!!"

"We were delighted to find that the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of excellent tools, silverware, glassware, sharp knives, cooking pots and pans etc. The beds were comfortable (at least ours was), the water was good tasting. The house seems to be under renovation, for example - our bedroom on the first floor has a hole in the ceiling with part of the works stuffed above the ceiling - the room was dark despite bedside lamps and a floor lamp. Also there is a nail protruding out of the floor between the bathroom and bed in that first floor bedroom which my husband stepped on several times in the dark. The 2nd floor bedroom over the playroom was chilly and the thermostat was hanging out of the wall. The lighting was awkward and/or minimal in most rooms except the kitchen and over the larger dining table. The kitchen worked well, except we found the glasswasher full of water and the ice maker did not work. Some ice trays probably would be appreciated by the next renters. The "great room" does not have good light for reading. The dining table was the only place with seating for all seven of us to be together (and we had to move a chair from the kitchen to do that). Regarding the rating for communicating with property manager - I did not communicate during our stay, only once some days before we drove there."

"Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside has great upgrades. Very clean, well stocked kitchen supplies. Almost seemed like we were the first renters! Especially appreciated the AC! We picked this place b/c it is close to family and Killington Mtn. activities. Price was very reasonable. Nice outdoor grill, but did not use it over concern with the build up of grease/food particles in bottom."
