"Terrible hotel. Don’t stay here. Checkin stated as from 3pm. Room not ready till 5pm even when travelling with two small children. Hotel staff told me that our room could be available from 3pm and it was their choice when it would be available - it took me getting rather frustrated for 10 minutes before they said that they apologised. "Ich habe im Voraus glutenfreies Frühstück für eine Person angemeldet. Dies habe ich beim CheckIn nochmals abgefragt, und es hiess, wenn ich es angemeldet habe, würde es schon klappen. Das Team vom Frühstücksservice wusste dann aber nichts davon, hat sich dann aber doch Mühe gegeben und etwas bereit gemacht. Das hat mich gefreut. "I booked this hotel at the last moment without knowing much about the area, other than I was going Obergurgl to ski. I was pleasantly surprised! "Merano is a gorgeous mountain town. Aurora is right across the street from a famous thermal spa. The hotel has a helpful staff. Like so many places in Italy, it’s on a pedestrian street but they have an arrangement with a nearby parking garage and the parking just goes on your room charges."
