I don’t even know where to begin with this dump! Everything about it was awful. The bugs - yes, including bed. The stained bed, the black mold in the bathroom, the disgusting scent in the rooms, the stained ceilings and walls, and the top it off, the owner is an absolute scum bag! I’d rather sleep out in negative weather than sleep there.

Poor condition
I didn't have any problems, the staff was efficient and friendly. It's an old style motel that needs a major renovation to bring it up to modern standards. Mold between the tiles of the shower is a bad thing. It was cheap but out of the way, one can easily find something in better condition. It's time to give this place a major renovation or rip it down. Overall I was satisfied, I wasn't expecting more but was disappointed by the condition. The Brassneck Brewery across the street was a very nice highlight.

Spent 1 night, its a much older motel, but the price was right. We felt safe, could be more diligent on cleaning, but bed had no bugs and room smelled clean. Could use more then 2 pillows. Would stay again.

City Center was the cheapest option I could find while I needed to stay in Vancouver for surgery. The location is good, as my support person and I were able to easily walk to a bunch of nice little shops, and skip the dishes had no issues delivering. The room itself wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. There wasn't a microwave, mini fridge, or anything like that, but again, skip the dishes had no issues finding us, so we did fine for food. Cable was spotty and would work sometimes, but not others, and the wifi was horrible, but we had other entertainment with us, so that wasn't a huge issue. The bathroom tiles were pretty grungy, and we could definitely tell it was an older building in need of some upkeep, but the sheets were clean, there were no bugs, and for what it was, it was a decent stay. There are definitely better hotels out there, but for a few nights where we needed something affordable, City Center worked perfectly fine.

The place was pretty dirty and in disrepair. Garbage was piled outside my door for some inexplicable reason. Lastly, the internet was essentially non-existent. The guy at the front desk is nice and friendly, and got me checked in and out without any hassle.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past. You definitely get what you pay for. The previous times weren't so bad however this most recent time the room smelt really bad and the bathroom was pretty dirty. We love this location though. It is within walking distance of everything and super close to downtown.

The location and the staff were nice. Although I found it over priced for the condition of the room. The bed was also uncomfortable and there was no coffee pot or shampoo& conditioner. Wouldn't stay there again.

The whole place should be demolished, this place is an eyesore, very unpleasant, the staff, well, all I can say is there’s a rotten fruit in their basket, and that employee shouldn’t be working as a customer service. Only if you are desperate for an overnight stay, that’s what this place is good for.

Worst hotel experience of my life.
The back of the toilet in my room broke in the early morning, flooding the bathroom and room. I tried to get my money back through hotels.com and they offered me $25 compensation, stating that the hotel said the toilet was in working order when I arrived at 8pm and was not when I checked out at 6am. The room had obvious damage from previous flooding, which I took photos of when I arrived because I was so put off by the carpets and smell of cigarette smoke in the room that I did not remove my shoes within it. See the first picture. My first instinct was to sleep in my car, and I truly regret my decision not to. This was an uninhabitable space and nobody should use that room again.

Day front desk agent was decent, however night agent seemed drunk, rude, and ignorant. I talked to the maid face to face to make a time to clean my room, I left came back to a untouched room so I cleaned it myself.. finding a huge spot of period blood on my mattress and mold in my bathtub. Pros: AC and heat worked and worked fast and efficient, I admit I was a bit of a louder guest at night and didn't receive any complaints.. explanation in short: it's a great hotel for a party or couples to have intercourse besides that would not recommend to stay here

Extremely rude staff who do not have any customer service skills. The male working the front office at night is completely rude and refused to serve me at the outdoor window. I wasn’t allowed inside and he wouldn’t open the window to talk to me unless I was wearing a mask. He kept yelling at me waving the mask and then completely ignored me. There were mice all around the outside and burn marks all over bedding, carpets and the bathroom floor/sink/toilet.

We liked that it was located downtown. We didnt like the servjce of the first gentleman who was working over night shift. However the man the next mornig made up for it by being so kind. Bed bugs were present in the room, didnt notice till the day we checked out.
