“Rooftop retreat”
We got one of the executive rooms with a good-sized private terrace. It was an excellent place to enjoy a bottle of cava or smoke a cigar under the stars. Spain is one of the few countries where smokers are still tolerated, but for those who abstain you can ask for a non-smoking room too. Service was attentive and friendly. Room was to a good standard and the self-service breakfast copious and varied. The only slight drawback was the lack of king-sized sheets to join the adjacent twin beds into a double
“Excellent! Sophisticated yet extremely warm and friendly.”
My 16-year-old granddaughter and I stayed 4 days, and we were treated as royalty. Our room was spacious, with a romantic balcony that overlooked orange trees on a beautiful Valencian square, with the Cathedral only blocks away. The staff was exceptional--within one day everyone knew us to greet us by name. We had a grand European stay here.
“Good experience”
Our stay at the hotel was a very pleasant one and would go back in a minute. The staff were very helpful expecially Anna at reception who was always polite and pleasant. All the staff in other areas of the hotel were also very good and anything that was needed was attended to right away. Had breakfast included in our package and this was well organised in the morning, plenty on offer and all of good quality. Miss not having my breakfast made for me now that we have returned home! The location of the hotel was superb and everything is within walking distance. Good restaurants very close and it was lovely to sit out and eat in the good weather. Would return to this hotel without hesitation and hope to go back soon.
“Clean, comfortable, impressive for a European hotel”
Staff was friendly, very accomodating, rooms are large, bathrooms are great - very modern - right in the heart of the old city - already recommended it to a friend - definitely would go back to this hotel - Breakfast was excellent
“Very good hotel”
My partner and I were first time visitors to Valencia and initial apprehension re the city centre site of the hotel was short lived. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and we found our room comfortable and spacious. We had the benefit of a balcony and could enjoy the day-long sunshine although we were out and about for most of the time. In spite of the busy cafe life around the hotel we were not disturbed by noise after 11pm. We had not booked breakfast but having tried it out on our first day did not feel the need to go elsewhere. The buffet offered a selection to suit every taste and, as guests of the hotel the cost for two was reduced by 25%. There were restaurants and bars a-plenty to choose from for lunch and evening dining. We divided our time between city walks and the fantastic beach at Malva Rosa. We will return to Valencia and would happy to stay again at the Vincci Lys Hotel.
“Valencia Romance”
First time to Spain & Valencia. Loved the city and the location of the hotel. Right in the heart of the city. Cafes & shopping galore ! Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. English speaking as well. Rooms were very spacious & comfortable.
“Very impressed”
Althought this hotel has mixed reviews, we could not have been happier. although the rooms did face a wall, we were out and about in the surrounding areas so didn't really care. the staff we extremely helpful and the location was excellent. We couldn't fault it!
“Beautiful Hotel”
The room was gorgeous, the staff was extremely helpful, and there was plenty of restaurants and shopping just outside the door. I was even able to buy tickets for some attractions at the front desk.
“great hotel”
Great hotel. Excellent location.Metro very close and in easy walking distance of main squares, cafes, bars, central market and beautiful buildings. The room was bigger than any other hotels I've stayed at.
“Wonderful short break”
A clean and quiet hotel within walking distance of old town and station. Easy trip from airport to city. A wonderful city with the beach just a bus ride away.
