Close to many great walks/hikes. Accommodated my family of five well and being pet friendly is such a bonus. The property is well kept and a good location.

It had 3 big beds for 6 adults,,,,,, BUT only enough seating on the deck for 4, seating in the livingroom for 3, but a table for 8. ALSO, the windows didn't all have blinds and when the neighbor leaves their outside light on all night, it shines directly into the main floor bedroom. The sun was up at 5 a.m....and then so were we! Not ok!!! ALSO, the BBQ didn't work and we even took the time to change the propane tank. HORRIBLE! ALSO, you pay an additional amount of $175 to have the place cleaned after you, which is NOT on their site. I would NOT do this again!!

Hello CarolSorry we didn't meet your expectations. A few comments:- we have a messaging system which you used but there are zero comments from when you checked in until you checked out. You could have asked for deck chairs or help with the BBQ but you didn't.- you rented a cottage with 2 living rooms. Yes each one is small but there are 2 for those guests who want separation from children or whatever.- you did not book through our website and the cleaning fee is clearly posted on the website you used. Not sure why you are confused there.- nobody has ever complained about the blinds but we will have a look.

The cottage we stayed in was very run down and in need of upkeep. The cabinets were falling apart, floor tiles were loose, hardwood deeply scratched, appliances outdated and window coverings that were not useful in blocking out light. I don’t know if this cottage is representative of all of them, however if it is, I would not recommend. April 2024

Hi Dave,Thank you for the review. We get confused as to why some guests leave a 5-star review, yet others, like yourself, leave a 2 for the same cottage.We sell on experience. This cottage has the best view of Spring Cove out of any cottage in Ucluelet. You commented on the scratched teak floor, We and our many re-occurring guests consider it a badge of honor. You previously commented on the price of our cottages. Just an FYI, you could have taken the cottage immediately to your left, and you would pay twice as much for an inferior view. Or the cottage to the right, although brand new, would be 3x the price, again, with an inferior view.Again, thanks for the opportunity to comment.Reefpoint

The property is located in a very quiet area which makes it hard to find in the evening. It looks pretty worn out especially most of the stuffs are either broken or malfunction. The fireplace caused part of the house to lose power and the entrance key pad was malfunction. We had barbecue the first night and wasn't given a full gas tank. The overall experience was not too pleasant at all.

We enjoyed staying at this location. It was quiet and peaceful. Close to walking paths. The kitchen has a few items or pots, pan and utensils for cooking. We enjoyed using the bbq on the back porch. We did discover the previous occupants potato chips under the ottoman. Otherwise, we would gladly stay here again.

Our family was very happy with our stay at Reef Point. The cottage came with eveything essential for cooking in the kitchen and bathroom. We loved to go into the hot tub at the end of a long hike. I really like the communication style of this establishment and they were very prompt with the replies.

Loved the privacy a cabin offers. We stayed with our 2 Yorkshire terriers, so was nice not having to worry about them bothering neighbours.

The hot tub was a little dirty. the filter was super brown and the hot tub itself felt slimy. That didn't stop our kids from enjoying. very cute and cozy. Easy check in Easy Check out no issues at all. Great communication.

The property was amazing! Perfectly suited to our family getaway. We liked the layout and location. What we didn't realy like was the lack of laundry onsite - in a seaside property near a beach that allows dogs it would have been nice to be able to do a load of laundry especially given the stormy weather we had.

The location of these cabins are great and they have the bare essentials. The check out time is early (10am) and it does not have the capacity to plug in EVs. The hot tub is nice and the view is spectacular.

Very quaint and spacious cottage but needs some TLC and upgrades. Towels are thin & hard plus kitchen accessories are poor and lacking variety. Did enjoy the privacy and contactless entry/ stay.

The outside property and location were lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. The cabin itself needs refreshing it is tired and worn out. The beds were ok but not great, bed in main floor missing a wheel. Perhaps ok for overnight, huge daily turnover, but not good for long stay.

All of the images on expedia show a hottub for the cabin we rented. Our family would have preferred the 1 bedroom cabin with the bunkbeds because the layout was actually better for us but the kids really wanted the hottub so we splurged. The day after booking I received the confirmation email from Reef Point and in the description it says in bold that hottubs are not in use from May through November. I contacted Expedia right away and they were not able to get a hold of the property. I contacted the property and they did not return my call. I wasn't able to book another place as everything was booked. I messaged Expedia days later to follow up, they still weren't able to get a hold of the cabins. They told me I could always cancel before cancellation window if I wanted and just lose my 50 booking fee, but as there weren't any other booking options for our family of five and I'd already promised the kids this trip that wasn't an option either. It seemed unfair that I lose any money since the entire thing wasn't my fault. I continued to try and reach Reef Point and finally got a live person, I explained and they blamed it on Expedia, she advised that she would check with management and see if there was something they could do for us and call us back, no one ever called. Fast forward to check in - door code didn't work, rust on heat registers, hide a bed was broken have to take out your own garbage, missing utensils, wifi didn't work,, cabin next to us took our p.spot

Overall is quite nice with four people in one bedroom with one sofa bed for just sleeping…limited space if you are going to cook a lot in the kitchen area.
