“Roll Tide great!”
great room ...great location...cant wait to go there again
“RIGHT ON THE ALABAMA CAMPUS”
This hotel certainly met my needs. It was clean and attractive and very near my meeting site. The room was comfortable. Bathroom fixtures we a little worn but serviceable with nice bath amenities. My only complaint: Continental breakfast was listed for $6.99 on the menu, the bill said $8.99 (tip came after that) and the desk charged me $12. Everybody makes mistakes, and I paid it anyway.
“Very nice”
This was the second time we stayed at the Hotel Capstone. Very convenient to the Univeristy and downtown.
“Capstone”
Very good hotel, although expensive. The room is good and clean. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good, very tasty, and the price is okay. I wish it was not that expensive so I would be there other times. I really recommend it if you are looking for a nice place to stay there and price it is not a problem.
“Will go back”
Hotel Capstone is great, especially if you need to be close to the University of Alabama and/or the Bryant Conference Center. I pretty much parked my car upon check-in and didn't move it until I checked out which was wonderful. The staff is well trained, efficient and very polite. Overall the facilities are great. Very nice banquet rooms, business center, restaurant, and fitness center. My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that the computers in the business center need a little work. One is too restrictive - making it impossible to download and print out a document. The other machine is too far on the other end of the spectrum. It is loaded down with too many downloads, toolbars and junk ware. There should be a happy medium in there somewhere. So I'll give them a 98 out of 100. I will definitely stay there again if I can get a deal through Expedia like this one.
“Great hotel!”
We stayed here because it was conveniently located on campus at UA. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for an older hotel. We were able to walk to our destinations on campus as we were there for a campus sponsored program.

Good location. Basically in the middle of campus. A bit of a hike from parking lot to room.
“Bama Bound Savior”
My daughter and wife were stuck at a local dump of a hotel that was $30 a night less than Capstone. Easy money decision!

“Heart of the Capstone”
Stayed here for the first time and now I've wondered why I waited so long. Wonderful hotel that was so convenient to campus. I will definitely be staying here again.
