Mother was injured and asked to use the lounge on the top floor after check out while we waited for our train. (There are no couches in the lobby - just stiff dining chairs.) The staff refused, and informed us the lounge was for guests only. Meanwhile, no one informed us of the lounge during our multiple night stay. This kind of nickel and diming in a luxury hotel is extremely disappointing. We will not be returning.
Room I was assigned in big need for renovation , beds very small and hard, cheap linens and dirty carpet, place super busy no personal attention, I ask for room upgrade and they said : yes we already gave you an upgrade but that was not true , room I got was bad.
Location of hotel and view from room were great , that was about it.
Will not go back
Excellent hotel in a great location with walking distance to multiple train stations and to the main areas of Shinjuku. Easy access to shops. Received exceptional service from staff on every encounter. Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Tokyo

The appearance is good, but we were a little disappointed when I walked into the room. There were dirty spots on the carpet, and some stains on the sheets that had not been washed off. I would rate it below the 4 star.
The facilities are good not great. Service in restaurants is very good. Front desk ok. Location and convenience is very good. The main tower has more modern rooms - south tower rooms look 25 yrs old. All in all - fine - nothing overly special
Big hotel in a good location. Nice enough both nothing special. My 26 yr old daughter was escorted out of a bar while waiting for her parents because she looked young. Place is nothing special. Front desk people have difficulty with folks who speak english only.
Great location. Good service. Clean. However, hotel room needs to be renovate( I stayed in south wing deluxe twin room. Room amenities not as good
as before
This is the place to stay when you’re heading back home because the airport limousine departs from the hotel and makes it super convenient to get to the airport without worrying about your luggages. Room was spacious and clean, but wish they update their bathroom.
The location is great because it’s not right up against the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku night life but close enough that eateries and bars are a short walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A beautiful park is only 700m walk too!
We loved The Keio Plaza. From the moment we drove up bellman were taking our luggage and handing it off to the next person. We were at the check in before we knew it. All staff dressed in crisp clean uniforms. Gorgeous! Our room has a normal size as to Canadian standards. Very quiet. Super clean. Anything we needed they were there. The concierge was so helpful with maps and information. We loved it. Highly recommend! We will be back!!

Great hotel staff friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. Would recommend to the most picky people.
This hotel is located at a convenient location. It’s about 10 mins walk to the Shinjuku station, and 3 mins walk to the closest convenient store/drug store. It’s also one of the pick up spot for the airport coach bus. All the front desk staffs are very professional and helpful. The room we stay was very spacious and clean. We wanted to try their tempura restaurant and teppenyaki restaurant, but unfortunately they were fully booked during our stay. We ended up having dinners ar their Japanese restaurant at 2nd floor, food was good and staffs were super friendly. We really like their bakery store, we bought dessert there every night. We will definitely go back to this hotel when we go back to Tokyo.
Rooms are good size. Bathroom area split up into 3 sections - would prefer 1 big bathroom. Premier Grand upgrade did not all complimentary bar charges that those who booked it normally get. That was annoying. Love the views from 47th floor
Being a Expedia VIP member, I didn’t even get the high floors requested and had to get a manager involved. Old hotel and very big! Lot of tour companies use and feels very commercial. Size of standard room is quite small; superior room recommended in South Gate.
We were in a luxury room the first night. It was amazing. Then we were in a regular room for groups and it was also great but smaller and slightly fewer extras. Both were outstanding.
It’s well positioned and a nice 4 stars hotel, I don’t unterstand how it got the 5th star. Anyhow, it’s clean, staff nice, but updates need to be made, bathroom looked old.
Check in/check out was easy. Great breakfast options. Clean and comfortable room. Staff was professional and helpful, especially when I needed a taxi to get to certain places. They have preprinted cards with barcode and name of the place to give to the driver so they know where to take you. Lobby was decorated beautifully. Great shopping options at walking distance from hotel. Overall my stay at Keio Plaza was wonderful and I recommend it to anyone staying in Tokyo.
This is our hotel of choice whenever we visit Tokyo, Japan! They added a new lounge on the 47th floor which is huge and offers a place to relax and to hang out. Premium Lounge service is excellent as always.
Amazing location. Our room overlooked the metropolitan government building that featured an incredible light show every evening. Super convenient access to public transportation, dining, shopping, & major, sightseeing attractions. Staff was responsive to all of our requests. Highly recommend.
Self contained resort hotel with on site restaurants, close to shinjuku station, and fuji views from room on 25th floor south tower, ask for 2568 or close..sushi, hibatchi, chinese, hot pot on site..

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Wouldn’t recommend at all! The stuff are extremely rude and the rooms are very old with a horrible smell. The listing on Expedia is very deceptive & to be honest I should be compensated.
