The rooms are very small. You cannot move around in them. They are barely enough for one person. The hotel staff do not speak English at all, which caused me great discomfort. There is no breakfast buffet at all, only a pre-prepared meal with very limited options in a restaurant next to the hotel. The restaurant is not clean at all, and neither are the staff. In the restaurant, I also paid tax twice, the first through Expedia, and when I arrived at the hotel, I paid the receptionist a tax again, and this is not explained. In general, I do not recommend it compared to the price, the non-existent services, and the level of cleanliness.

Our first time in Japan and the staff was exceptional! So helpful and accommodating. Beautiful property and right next door to an amazing restaurant called Tokyo Oven. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

Good location, nice quiet neighborhood around Tokyo area. Short walk to bus/train/subway stations. Very nice updated hotel with friendly staff. Get the breakfast option for around $6 a day. Great breakfast menu. Would definitely stay there again.

The decor was very authentic. I felt very comfortable in the room. I recommend providing a casting capability to the television so that guests can watch videos from the cell phone on the television.

For being a solo traveller, this hotel was amazing. The location was great as it was a quick 3 minute walk to the subway system. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the staff was wonderful with their customer services. The only con was the breakfast options were very limited, but that is more to do with the restaurant next door then the hotel itself. I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Japan.

The entrance of this hotel is very cool and you can find many options for restaurant. Near by metro station, and convinces store etc. Their room amenities was fantastic and my room was very clean. Their shower is very good quality too:) I just wished they have a bit more light choice for breakfast:)

I came for a work trip and had a wonderful stay at Hotel Risveglio. I had a triple room to myself. Tons of room and so many small details, the tea and the nice tea cups, the pjs, the slippers and bathrobe—the bathtub was phenomenal. I booked with breakfast, which was served directly across from the hotel. Good breakfast—a choice of several set menus. The room and the place in general is quiet and well kept. The staff are fantastic and quick to respond to any questions and needs. It was a nice and easy place to come back to and relax. Indeed, I slept soundly while I was here, which isn’t always the case in Tokyo!

We stayed here for our last couple nights in Japan. It’s located a few minutes walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke train and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite small (maybe 8 floors with 10 rooms on each floor) like a boutique hotel so not many amenities like larger hotels such a laundry or baggage forwarding services. The rooms were small (as expected) but well laid out. The beds were very comfortable (and more soft like western style beds) which meant for a good nights sleep before travelling home. We had breakfast included which was from the cafe next door. It only had a handful of menu options but what we had was good. Only negative was the sound proofing - this was the only hotel we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Japan where I could hear noises from the room next door as well as from out in the corridor. Overall, good place to stay when exploring Tokyo.

Comfortable and stylish
Small but very well-appointed room with comfortable bed and bathroom in a good location. I wouldn't recommend this particular room for a couple, since the bathroom is right up against the bedroom with only plexiglass (no privacy), but this was a great place to stay solo. Would definitely stay again.

Typical small Japanese hotel room. Very clean and well maintained. Beds should be replaced with some newer versions. Front staff is very nice and willing to help. Broken English is spoken. Property is close to many restaurants and shops. Metro stations are very close.

I loved this hotel so much! The property was very clean, the staff was friendly and spoke English, and the location was in between popular tourist spots such as Shibuya and Akihabara. It was also on a street with a ton of late-night restaurants, convenience stores, and train stations.

Great hotel in a great street. Kind staff (as is the norm for Japan). Small rooms (as is also pretty normal) but really well appointed - nice boutique / design vibe throughout. Loved it!

Incredible service in a boutique hotel nestled in a nook of the Akasaka food street. Just hosted my wedding in the Akasaka neighborhood and the hotel provided perfect support, a spacious suite, and extra room keys for our guests. Lots of restaurants, karaoke, shrines, and entertainment within walking distance.

Great location in central Tokyo. Only 15 min to Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ginza with metro. Many bars and restaurants around there. Staffs are incredibly polite and respectful. Wonderful amenities, such as tooth brushes and lounge wear.
