Really loved my terrace room overlooking the ruins. They helped me taxis as well. You can walk to downtown but it has more of a neighborhood feel.

The place did not match wat was expected from the pictures. The bathroom was great. But the room had a certain smell that never went. The floor looked dirty even though it was cleaned. The water from the shared electric kettle had white deposits on it so I could not drink any hot drinks. The staff were helpful especially the gentleman. However, I would not stay there again. For a similar price I stayed in amazing accommodation in Pireaus, and Athens city centre.

For the cost I thought this was excellent value. Wi-Fi very good, shower modern and good pressure. Plenty of free water and centrally located. Great job!

When we visit the city, it was very hot and the air condititon in the room was just perfect! The staff was very helpful and our experience was just wonderful. I recommend Urban Monkey to everyone who looks for a great stay in the city.

Very nice and friendly place in Thessaloniki
Very nice and clean place, 10 minutes walk from the port. Very well maintained and designed. We had a lovely balcony to the street (that is pretty small and quiet). The communication with the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend the stay there for short stays. The price was terrific for the size of the room and the condition. The only downside is that the hotel has no elevator, so we had to take the suitcases 4 flours up.

Nice room, too noisy with all noise heard from reception inside the roon and huge mix up in checking in, resulting in a receptionist bursting in the room whilst I was asleep

Terrible place to stay i stayed in room 3 on floor 2 and the bed had bedbugs, i got bites all over mt body but when brought up to the reception staff they blamed us saying we left the window open and it was mosqitoes, when they are bedbug bites.

Following your complain, we have invited a specialist for insecticide treatment, who carefully examined all furniture in the room, but did not find any traces of bed bugs. Nevertheless, we have done full insecticide treatment. As a compensation for your inconvenience, we offer you a 2 night stay free of charge in another room in the future. Not So Sure
Firstly I need to stay I changed my arrangements a few times and the hotel was super helpful & the reception & staff were lovely. But - the room was grey and gloomy, had a dusty smell, a bed in with two bunk beds, no hanging space, no kettle, & a dark grey bathroom with no windows. The area was also a bit rough, street drinkers & lots of litter. All in all a bit grim.

Quirky Donkey
A very nice, new hotel with a bit of a quirky design which is to be expected from an 'Urban donkey'. As it is a bit out of the town center, parking is easy to find and yet the center is close enough so you can easily walk around. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Was rather easy to locate it. Found parking in front of the hotel in a city parking is always problematic.Very clean and room with unusual decoration and colors. Most probably will use it again.
